Publisher's summary

Everyone has an enemy. For the Child of God, our worst enemy is Satan, but we also deal with the world, and our own flesh in the lust of the eyes, the pride of life. Listen in as Sam, Amy, and Ranson deal with kidnapping, counterfeiting, murder, and telemarketing fraud. Can the Lord still save from sin? Can He still use men and women to spread the gospel to a lost world? Meet Dan Taylor and Gwenn Harper, and watch how the Lord's faithfulness can overcome our closest enemies.

Fantastic book, inspiring story ... motivating

Loved the book. Glad it was outright Christian! It is an inspiring book of God working reminding me that he works today and he is involved in our every day life. Also reminded me to treasure my spouse.

Our closest enemies!

This trilogy by author Peggy Hoy is fantastic! I just finished the second one, and I am really impressed. The characters are amazing, you really feel for them. W.B. Ward is such a great narrator. I already have the final book loaded. I can't wait to hear how everything works out!

A lot of scenarios

Great morals taught. But lots of little quick stories in one book. Not a lot building before solved and moved to another story. I liked the first book better.

A disappointment

No suspense, no intrigue. I had a very hard time making it through until the end. The first book in this series was better and showed promise. I am not planning to waste my time on the third book in the series.
