Yaaassss!

WOW! I loved the intrigue with a spicy love, actually lust story combined with the inner workings of a colorful White House. I enjoyed the story and am anticipating the sequel.

Love this series

I wish all of the series were on Audio... this was like listening to a soap on primetime. Loved it

So glad there's a book 2!

I didn't want the book to end. My only complaint is there should have been only one narration of President Jackson switching between two voices , I didn't like. The more rougher narration of President J. was much more believable.

I just left a review but forgot that this account was under my husband’s name. My name is Raenette.. I laughed every time they said First Lady’s name. I don’t believe i have ANY of the qualities that she has lol

Good Read

The storyline was enjoyable. At times it seemed unrealistic with all the womanizing of the president, but still decent.

I am hooked

This was so good. Couldn’t turn it off. Can’t wait to read the next one. I am new to this author, but loved that the story was different yet familiar as well. It is a very unique storytelling and can’t wait to start the next one.

This book puts Scandal to shame!! At first I was disappointed because how we were being portrayed but as I read more the storyline had me with my mouth opened. I can't stand Steve's mother and Steven is an arrogant...... laughing out loud

I loved the fact that he is NOT predictable. Stephen C. Jefferson is one man who you will not figure out, just when you think he is going to do one thing he is going the other direction.

What did you like best about this story?

It is not your typical story. You have to use your imagination to try to figure out which way it is going.

Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?

Raynetta is my favorite.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was great listening and it made you be able to visualize the characters.

Being the President of the United States takes a lot of smarts and heart.  There are things that POTUS will undergo that regular people will never have to.  Once you get in office if you don't show the world that you aren't scared they will eat you alive and then you will be known as a has been.  How do you go about showing the world that you have earned your title?  Do you go along to get along or do you come out like gangbusters and take the world in your hands?

Stephen C. Jefferson is a no nonsense type of guy.  He is all about business and has no filter.  Once Stephen won the presidency he decided to get started on his agenda that he ran on and anyone who showed that they weren't loyal was out of the picture.  If you weren't on Team Jefferson you weren't on any team at all.  Involved with his team was his mother and his wife, Raynetta and they weren't exempt from being put off the team.  The one thing is for sure is when Stephen C. Jefferson puts his mind to something he is going to go ahead with it and anyone trying to stop him better beware!

Black President: The World Will Never Be The Same is a book filled with drama!  Clearly from the title you can see that we have another black president but the difference between the two you will see immediately!  The characters will keep you laughing in-between telling them what you think they should or shouldn't do.  You are reading but it feels like you are watching them on tv and that makes for good reading.  Hampton shows you how a novel is supposed to be written and I always look forward to her next read.
