In 1946, a young couple set off on their honeymoon. Fired by their ideals and passion for one another, they plan an idyllic holiday, only to encounter an experience of darkness so terrifying it alters their lives for ever.
....a beautifully observed piece of writing that pulls you in and leaves you disappointed when it's finished. If you love to delve into internal landscapes and other people's lives then here you will find satisfaction. Narration was perfect.

Dissapointing story, good as far as it went but I felt that it had been truncated. I feel that the 3.44 hours was only part of the book

You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?
