Disappointed

If you're looking for a Christian view on norse mythology, then this is the book for you! I resented the comment in the beginning stating, "our Scandinavian ancestors had no idea about the one and only true God" ,so much that I could not finish the book.

too many discrepancies

I'm not personally a fan of the narrator. the way he spoke sounded juvenile. it was almost as if the myth of the Gods was a joke. there are far too many discrepancies and what seems like home made stories. I'm sorry just say this but I Give It 2 stars at best

Norse?

Maybe I am wrong, but this does not sound like the stories I was expecting. Strange variances in all the tales and incorrect pronunciation of character names.
The reviews made it sound great but it was a huge let down.

A trainwreck from the start.

Improper pronunciation of names, misinterpretations, and a preface naming Christ God as the one true god? Remove this bastardisation immediately it's garbage!

Awesome Narration!

If you could sum up Asgard Stories in three words, what would they be?

Old but fun.

Would you recommend Asgard Stories to your friends? Why or why not?

Absolutely. We're all Neil Gaiman nerds; I recently listened to Norse Mythology and then came here for this as a bit of a back drop. Cool to listen to the original stories.

Have you listened to any of Keith O'Brien’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No but he was perfect for this audiobook! So much fun to listen to him and he suited the stories very well.
