Publisher's Summary

This is an end-times novel and series that the liberal far-left doesn’t want you to listen to as it shows how their policies and philosophies could push us even faster towards the real apocalypse.

Part of the West Coast is recovering from a series of devastating earthquakes. This caused a record drop in the stock market, and due to a national debt of 21 trillion dollars, the value of the dollar is on the edge of collapsing.

At the same time, when a civil rights demonstration is hijacked, riots start breaking out across the country.

Our enemies see our weakness and know it’s time to take their place as world leaders. Two countries have come up with a way, and have set everything into motion to do just that.

Vince and Kim Johnson live on a farm 40-miles to the southeast of Kansas City, Missouri. After serving 17 years in the army, Vince had to take an early medical retirement due to an injury. Now, the most he thinks he must fight is cabin fever. Little does he know that a chain of events is about to take place that will test all of his training and skills.

He must also face the ultimate temptation, and not let it consume him.

Both must band together with family, inexperienced friends, and four of the men Vince served with years earlier, to prepare for and try to survive a time unlike any in our history.

Warnings: Contains the adult language commonly used in the military and on the streets. There are some references to Biblical prophecy as two of the main characters suspect that the events happening could be the beginning of the Tribulation.

Great book. Made me cry at the end.

Rather remarkable survival story. I'm not really a Christian, so I was glad that the biblical message did not taller over the story.

Apocalypse Buff

I love a good apocalypse/ economical collapse story. Lately, I’ve been searching for a good movie that follows my idea of what a good story should be. To my dismay, most everything is zombies and vampires and not quite what I wanted. I downloaded Audible and got this book as a first choice. I have to say, I feel the most satisfaction after listening to it than I have in a long time with a movie/show.

I give the authors great credit for a satisfying story, especially being their first one. I am on my way to purchase their next novel.

For beginners not bad, not bad at all

What made the experience of listening to Apocalypse Coming the most enjoyable?

Even though Mr. & Mrs. Dunaway changed names, you'll know ho they are talking about.
First they wrote a little comprehensive, but soon they changed and brought to paper what a lot of the American people fear, about our values and how certain politicians tried and still try to destroy. I didn't mind how fiction then took over, because lots of fellow patriots feared just that.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The plot, of cause is fiction, but it could have easily happened. With the change of the regime, we had, this ending is that, fiction, thanks God.

Have you listened to any of Ben Clark’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Actually the whole story is weaved with moments which touch your heart, but outstanding for me, a non church-but deeply believer in God, was that I'm not alone in my religion and that the charming authors are not afraid to stand by their God

Any additional comments?

I tried to find the two on twitter, cause Facebook is so extremely censored, but sadly couldn't find them. There would be lots of tweets which could spark the muse of Bill and Cindy

Unique Story and full of action

What made the experience of listening to Apocalypse Coming the most enjoyable?

I love this story as it's not the same story told over and over again.I have read the Kindle versions and I had to have the Audible versions. Some of the events are the same but the book goes in a completely different direction. I also love it as it is true to life. It's written how the real world is.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I actually got nervous. I laughed aloud and had tears come to my eyes more times that I want to admit. I loved the Carmen story and how Kim had so much love and trust for everyone.

Have you listened to any of Ben Clark’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Ben is a good narrator and very easy to listen to.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and I almost did. It's also a book you can listen to more than once. I can't wait to buy book two.

Any additional comments?

Besides being entertaining, I learned more from this book and many of the others combined. It has great survival tips and suggestions and it even tells the smart way to set up your own community.
I also love the realism of the faith and beliefs of everyone. Like in real life, all the characters have different beliefs but they all have so much trust and respect for one another, they don't let that get in the way. Outstanding story and book.
