Publisher's summary

Wyatt Thompson grieved over a loss. His world crashed around him and nothing, it seemed, could help him.

Piper Morgan, a mail-order bride, came to Colorado to find love and security. But when she arrived, sick and alone, she believed her world would never be the same.

But deep in the frigid Colorado mountains, Wyatt and Piper found each other. In a twist of events, Wyatt and Piper are drawn to each other and drawn from any thing they've ever known.

Will this mail-order bride fall in love with a man in what becomes a marriage of convenience?

Want More and Longer Of These Clean Romances

I usually get frustrated with books that are less than six hours long because there isn't enough time to get to know the characters and then it's over. However, *I agreed to listen to this in exchange for my thoughts, opinions and this review.

I loved this book from beginning to its in through all 1 hour and 14 minutes of it! Julie Poulet friend every single minute full of action, adventure, romance in heartbreak.

I love that it is part of the series and I hope that if these short stories become popular the authors will consider expanding upon each book.

This lacks nothing, but I think the author couldfill lots of pages with the main characters and even insert a couple quirky ones. That is my wish, Julie Poulet please make it come true!

Leonard a Woodworth is a polished and professional performer. He remembers to reach for most of her deep voice helped make the characters male characters very believable but just as easily she performs the females without flaw. I am really impressed.

Notes: nothing to worry about here, it would be acceptable in almost any book club.

Stars: even though I am stingy with my stars and the book was shorter than I'd like, I am here to review it as far as writing and performing. This is one of the very rare five-star overall performance & story

Well done Julie Pollitt and Lenora A. Woodworth, well done.

--> I appreciate you taking the time to read my review. I find that reviews help me in deciding whether or not to purchase a books, especially new authors or performers. Sometimes they are helpful and sometimes they're not. If you found this review helpful would you take a moment and select 'YES' below the next paragraph?

Feel free to follow me on Audible. My favorite books are contemporary romance and books by authors like Vince Flynn who wrote counter-terrorism, thrillers. However, you will find reviews from all genres that have asked me to listen for a review.

Authors & narrators, please feel free to use my review on any forum that you would like. Its yours, but please include a link back to this site. Thanks!

Short and ever so sweet!

I loved this short love story. Not hard to stick with the story and such a nice love story packed into the short time. I can't wait to read more of these books by Julie Pollitt and definitely more books narrated by Leonor A. Woodward. You won't be disappointed by this book!

A Heartwarming Sweet and Clean Romance

A SILVER PLUME ROMANCE was a sweet and good short romance set in an old west mining town in Colorado. I thought it was very well structured, easy to follow and an overall relaxing listen. Piper is a mail order bride who arrives in Colorado to meet her groom who doesn't show up due to tragedy. Instead, his brother Wyatt comes to her aid.

LEANOR A. WOODWORTH did a superb job narrating the story. I especially liked her voice. I enjoyed everything about her performance and found her to be a wonderful asset to the story.

A short, entertaining listen

If you could sum up A Silver Plume Romance in three words, what would they be?

Sweet, historical, romantic

Have you listened to any of Leonor A. Woodworth’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to a couple of Leonor A. Woodworth's other performances. I know when I see her name on a title that I will enjoy the story and it's narration. She is consistent in delivering a top performance and she never disappoints.
I enjoyed this first installment and I would happily listen to the rest of the series.

Who was the most memorable character of A Silver Plume Romance and why?

I love Wyatt's character. Wyatt and Piper are likeable characters but Wyatt is my favourite. He is gentle and kind hearted which was evident in his concern for Piper even before he'd met her. He watched over her and held her hand all night in the infirmary as she slept and he demonstrated his protective side when he defended her from unwanted male attention.

Any additional comments?

Sweet clean historical western romance. Mail order bride arrives in Colorado , groom-to-be stands her up......enter older brother...............add in the bride is a bit of a spit-fire, good story.

The narration was excellent.

A beautiful, quick listen!

--I was given this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

This is the perfect short, feel good romance. Julie Pollitt captures romance at it's best in the late 1800's. Wyatt Thompson marries his dead brother's mail order bride, Piper. She does not decide to marry him easily, but the two develop a beautiful romance in this quick listen.

Leonor A Woodworth, as always, brings her magic to this story. I love her voice, always giving a performance that is easy to listen to.
