Unable to explain his vision, or to let go of the investigation, Matthew turns to renowned medium Kiernan Fitzpatrick. Though he has doubts about Kiernan's claims to communicate with the dead, Matt is nevertheless drawn to the handsome psychic, who awakens feelings he thought were long-buried.

Haunted by the lingering spirit of the little girl, Kiernan is compelled to aid in the search for her killer. The chance to get closer to the enigmatic Matt is an unexpected bonus. Although Kiernan's been betrayed by people who turned out to be more interested in his fame than in himself, with Matt he's willing to risk his heart. Irish accent makes a good book even better!

The story itself is a pretty decent representation of the genre, and the characters get enough depth to make me sad when the book ended. Definitely a stand-alone book that I wouldn’t have minded being a series starter.

Narrator was fantastic, made listening very enjoyable. Definitely adding to my list of books worth a re-listen!

Superb performance of a stirring romantic suspense

My appreciation to the author for including this in the Romance Package!
Jack LeFleur, WOW! I have favorite narrators and Mr. LeFleur will now join them as he brought this story to life with impeccable timing, cadence, and emotion.
This story, somehow, was my first by this author although I'm familiar with her name. It is rather exciting to look at her body of work in anticipation of some wonderful entertainment ahead.
The main character is a police detective who lost his partner nearly two years previously and in the course of the funeral, was inadvertently outed by his partner/lover's mother. Since that time, in addition to his own grief, his standing within his team has been lost and he has been on desk duty. No tolerance to be found.
The story is a mystery, a captivating, thrilling, emotional romantic suspense with a ghost, a cable-TV medium, a murder and so much action, passion, and sizzle that I frequently had the hairs standing up on my arms.
Well done!

I love the characters

Another good book from audible. The characters chemistry was so robust and I loved the flirting. I hope for anymore in depth story about Kiernan and his powers. The characters for me make the story and I want to know more about their quirks and flaws which were added into the story but never took away from what was happening. and the narrator is astounding. Loved it!

Great suspense and romance

I’ve scrolled past this book a few times before finally downloading it. I recently started watching the Hollywood Medium however and decided it was finally time to give it a try. Both the author and narrator were new to me and I have to admit that I am a MEGA wuss when it come to scary stuff so i was a little nervous that the content might keep me up at night.

The story was pretty interesting from the start, although there were a few moments that felt a little dry as she worked in the back story. I didn't have any problem working though these moments and did find them necessary to the story line, it kept up a good pace once it got going though. She managed to get the book up and moving pretty quickly and introduce us to all the main characters in a way that had me eager to learn more about them. Matt was the perfect balance of cynical gruffness with a soft loving underbelly and Kiernan was just a little ball of fun from the start, I adore him.

As a paranormal book the whole premise is a bit on the fantastical side, but she managed to follow enough guidelines to really make it fit nicely into normal life so it didn't feel at all out of place. I didn't find myself prematurely predicting the guilty party either which is something i notoriously do so that was a very nice change.

Overall this book really kept me engaged all the way though and I listened to it from start to finish, it has some very suspenseful and intense moments but it was never to scary for my delicate soul and there were no nightmares involved.

This narrator has a very deep, serious voice with a hint of onymity to it, so he was a perfect match for this story. I really enjoyed his narration and definitely won't hesitate to listen to more of his work.

Definitely add this to your TBR and I highly recommend it on audio it Jack LeFluer was a great addition to Diana Copland’s story. This was a standalone but I have to say I wish there were more. I could easily see this book continuing onto a series that follows the same couple throughout more adventures. Give me more Diana, Give me more!
