An outstandingly written book.

Donna you have another good one added to your list. Very very well written. A true page turner that kept me wondering 'what happens next?' Thank you for sharing your talent Donna. Karen, your intonation and narration and was truly on point!

Story Worth Listening To

This story highlighted some of the history of the African American Experience. The narration was excellent and the story kept me interested. Enjoyed

Family Secrets

The first thing I want to know is when; when will we get part two of this story because there has got to be more! This was a great read when some long ago family secrets being revealed.

I really liked this story, I just didn't like the ending . I'm really hoping for a part 2.

a MUST read if you found your Half sibling

I brought the book. attempted to read it on vacation. however I keep crying. i have been looking for a book(s) to read where I could see myself. WELL be careful what you wish for.THIS BOOK HIT THE SPOT! after a while I gave up on trying to read the book because the tears keep coming making it impossible to see the page. THANK YOU FOR THE AUDIO.

Ok story

I didnt like the story at first, but then it captured my interest and I was putting the pieces together as it went on. But it, tho a good story line, it just fell flat in the end. hopefully there is a part 2 to save it? not sure if I would pay $18 to listen to it tho, luckily I used a credit for this one.

Decent Story

This could be a really good story....but, there was so much unnecessary dialogue that actually took from the story and bored me a bit. There's some great plot twist scenarios which, again makes for a really good story...but, the author took 8 hours (audiobook) to get to the point. This is a story of an investigative reporter who was assigned a story about a Senate candidate and her family secrets....also the connection the candidate has with the reporter. This story also has a few other storylines to try and get through. Decent narration.
