Great Perspective from the inside of a situation!
This book was narrated very well & kept you engaged. As for the story it brings you into ongoing situations that stay hidden until something major happens. I appreciate the offer of assistance provided to the audience at the end.

This despicable act happens so often to young kids, I’m so glad the lil girl did what she needed to do to keep her stepdad from going the next horrible state with her.

Great book
So many young women are forced to keep a deep dark secert. This book has shad a light on what is happening in our community. We have to be willing to talk about it and admit it does happen in black families as well.
