Excellent information and narration-buy it!

I normally don't give any money or attention to "For Dummies" books, because I am not a dummy. That said, I was wrong to ignore these books, as this was an excellent collection of information. Some things I knew, but reminders and refreshers are a good thing, or, in my case, a VERY good thing (fibro fog is real!). I also learned a lot, and found the narration to be pleasant. I'm glad I was wrong about "For Dummies", and definitely recommend this book in audio or print format (or both!).

Great for new patients.

I have been a patient of fibromyalgia now for about 20 yrs. so sadly I knew most information but if you new patient this book might also be a bit overwhelming. It would be good if you have read other books first.

Excellent resource for fibromyalgia patients

The narrator was excellent and the content is really thorough. They cover so many things from the potential causes, therapies available and even mindset challenges that sufferers and their families face. An excellent book that was well thought out and helpful on so many levels; I’m sure I will be listening again in the future as there was so much useful information that I’m bound to forget some of it!

Repeated

Repetitive! I know the book is for dummies but I am not stupid! What a load of overrated blurb . Much better out there!

Some helpful info but vv repetitive + dumbed down

Didn't learn much from the book as I knew a lot already. I'd hoped that by being an American book that it would have some more up to date info that we didn't yet have in the UK. Depsite some bits of helpful info but I found it very irritating to listen to - extremely repetitive (I reckon it could be half the length) and full of obvious info that you almost can't believe they've included!
