Fibromyalgia

I had an accident around 25 years ago and broke my back.A year or struggling I managed to walk again but have always had problems and been in and out of hospitals most of my life. Also because of my accident and other things it has left me with deep depression and suicidal thoughts and more.

Over all these years my body had been used as a Guinea pig with all different types of medication and a lot of opioids and I still suffer from so much pain, depression, insomnia, poor diet as I’m not wanting to eat at all.Ive Even has a nervous breakdown and ended up in a mental health hospital for a while. And then a friend mentioned Fibromyalgia to me and I’d never heard about it and Doctors or Orthopaedic Specialist had never even mentioned it?.So I started just doing some very basic homework into Fibromyalgia. When I looked at most of the symptoms I more or less ticked all the boxes.

After listening to this book it’s helped me to gain more knowledge and areas that I can definitely relate too.Now I can pin point certain things I can now go and see my GP and put my findings forward and maybe and I say maybe be able to get some additional treatment?.

Disappointing

I didn't realize this book was so short. Although it covered the basics of fibromyalia , there was little depth. I found the section on exercise particularly frustrating because I can hardly walk round the house, nevermind down the strret

Interesting read.

I did not agree with the sections on medications and diet but it was overall interesting.
