Publisher's summary

I'm not too proud to admit that finding Mr. Right involves swiping right.

Right? Welcome to dating in avocado toastland.

Here I am, on my first blind date, ever, courtesy of a smartphone app and my two annoying best friends.

So what is Chris "Fletch" Fletcher doing, walking across the room, looking at his phone like he's pattern matching a picture to find a real person he's never met before?

Oh.

Oh, no.

The guy I drop-kicked in seventh grade cannot be my blind date. The guy who earned me this infernal nickname.

That's right.

Feisty

Feisty Fighter and Hot Boxer

I really enjoyed Chris and Fiona's story. They had an awesome enemies to lovers vibe throughout the first 2 books and I was happy to finally get their story. They have a bit of emotional baggage to get through thanks to Fiona's long held grudge, but I thought the plot of the book really worked to help see these two in a new light. Chris had much more depth than I previously thought and he had me swooning a time (or ten) with his sweet words and good heart. There are plenty of laughs just like in the previous books and it's always fun to catch up with the previous couples. Mallory and Will had an especially fun scene involving a bear ;) The story seemed to stall a bit once the truth was out in the open, but I liked being able to see the new relationship blossom and also all the shenanigans this group gets into. It's not necessary to read the previous books to enjoy this one, but it will definitely add to all the fun. Erin Mallon has been amazing in every book and her comedic timing continues to shine. She really is the perfect narrator for this series.

I haven't been a fan of Mallory's sister, Hastings, but I'm intrigued to find out what her story is next. Feisty starts off with a serious incident, but the rest is just romcom (sometimes ranchy) fun!

Hysterical enemies to lovers

I loved this book! I was so emotionally invested. Fiona might say our energies aligned. I was on the edge of my seat one moment and laughing hysterically the next. A must read!

They’re baaaack!!

Hilariously funny. I enjoyed Fiona’s preschool class the absolute most! I LOL so much at the hilarious innocence out of the mouths of babes. Fletch was a really cool guy and I love Fiona’s hippie/law of attraction/millennial/kick a🤬🤬 way of being 😂😂😂. She and Fletch were perfect! The taco scenes were pure hilarity! When you want or need a hearty laugh (or 2), a Julia Kent book is a great way to go.

I enjoyed Fiesty and can not wait for Hasty.

Ugggg

why oh why did ”Feisty” have to be so shallow. Holding a grudge from 7th grade for 15+ years. Her immaturity was so frustrating. Btw loved Chris. Narrator was great as always

Great book!

This is a super cute romantic comedy. It follows Fiona and Fletch, sworn enemies from their grade school days. It’s the third book in the series and just as funny as the first two. I highly recommend the whole series.

Feisty vs Hot Boxer

I absolutely loved the beginning of the book, the classroom scene with the discussion on whether or not hamsters like boogers was hilarious! I went from laughing at the conversations with the preschoolers to holding my breath from the action with Rico, all in all the beginning was the best… I was hooked right away! Fiona and Chris went to school together and while Chris has had a crush on Fiona since he was 12, she has hated him from the moment he tried to kiss her against her wishes. It was a cute backstory of childhood crushes but I loved the message it sent when Chris explained how his dad set him down after the kissing incident and explained that “no means no”, I definitely feel like more dads need to be telling their sons that! I enjoyed the sparing between Fletch and Fiona but there were definite moments when I wanted to shake Fiona and tell her to move on from her hatred of Chris, the nickname throughout her teenage years is unfortunate but she seemed to blame him for how she was pigeonholed even though she made her own choices. With the comedy and action right away in the book I was expecting a lot more from the rest of the story but it died down after that, I still got some great laughs anytime the preschoolers were involved but the hot and cold between Fiona and Chris dragged on for a while… because really, who could resist the “hot boxer”!

Erin Mallon did a great job narrating, she managed to nail all the female voice, male voices and even the children! She is always and automatic listen for me because I loved the ranges she can do.
