Fantatic recepi for behavior change
Great and clear book by Dr Chatterjee where he had basically collected a range of suggested recepies on how to make small and easy behaviour changes in everyday life. It eccoes so well the work by BJ Fogg and the Fogg model for behavior change. It also goes so well will all the episodes from the Feel Better, Live more podcast. I work with patients with chronic pain and have implemented the knowlegde from this book into my practice. I highly recommend it to everyone!! Associate Professor Kjartan Vibe Fersum

Not good as audiobook
Love both previous audio books and Dr Chatterjee is great at narrating however, this book does not translate very well. The content is good but too difficult to follow. The constant referral to the podcast breaks the flow when you do get into it too, there is no need to read the whole link out every other page. The chapter on exercise is incredibly boring trying to listen to someone explain have to do them, unless your looking at the PDF at the same time it doesn't come across at all. Simple advice in a very complicated format, sounds like an advert for a podcast and at times very boring. Would be better in a visual book. Disappointed.

Simple but life changing advice!
As with everything Dr Chatterjee does this is just brilliant. I’ve read his first two amazing books, the 4 Pillar plan and The stress solution which are so informative and has changed my life for the better. This book is easily the most simple and effective book he’s ever produced and one everybody will get a lot from. I can’t say enough good things about the amazing work/advice this man does, but all I can say is his books are honestly life changing and I’ve never felt more alive. Because as Rangan says, when you feel better, you live more!!

Simple life changing advice, Not suited to audio
Amazing book and content! I don’t want bring the title down with a bad rating, as it’s brilliant!! but the downloadable supporting pdf doesn’t marry the Audio content well. I think it would be better you could just download the entire ebook pdf form as most of the content is made to refer back to with recipes, workouts and instructions. The pdf gives a clear content page that is unfortunately impossible to follow on an audio book as it’s split into chapters not pages.

Cashing in
Yet another doctor following on from Mosley clearly trying too hard to cash in with half baked ideas backed up with podcasts.Very poorly produced in a monotonous narrative trying to sound excited that you just want to get to the point of it all.
Not at all convinced this is the real deal.
No stars....unpalatable twaddle
Don’t waste your life and efforts on it

Love Chatterjee but this doesn’t work as an audiobook
I absolutely love Dr Chatterjee. Own his first two books and am a regular listener to his podcasts. However, I don’t think the book works in audio form. I get a little lost without the visual references throughout.

Buy the book - not the audiobook
I’m a big fan of Dr Chatterjee and his podcast - but large parts of this audiobook are him trying to describe exercises in detail (not useful when listening anywhere but at home on your own - I listen in the car) and excerpts from his podcast (which I’ve heard). He also frequently refers to the downloadable notes (see above comment about needing to be at home!).
I’d suggest reading the book (and listening to his podcasts)
I like the principles in the book - but needs to be read.

Not the perfect audiobook
I love Rangan and I think he makes the world a better place. I like the convenience if audiobooks but I will buy the actual book too. I can just flick through the health snacks when I need a change. I can also encourage family members to look at the book over coffee or tea.

Practical advice for busy life
Love the idea of 5 minutes a day and keeping things simple. The notion of doing 5 mins a day consistently rather than longer periods inconsistently has helped me stick with excercises. It has taken off a huge amount of pressure knowing that if I can only do 5 mins a day that’s okay.
I would’ve liked to hear more patient stories of how this technique has helped them and less referrals to his podcast. The constant podcast referrals and excercise explanations felt much like filler material.
I did, however, enjoy this book and found Dr Chatterjee’s advice really helpful and practical to apply to daily life.
