Publisher's summary

The first wave of computer malware, known as the Locust Virus, destroyed the American financial system. But the worst is yet to come!

Kate has managed to survive a massive cyber attack that annihilated the US banking system. The societal collapse that followed in the wake of the attack has already claimed the lives of millions, including members of Kate’s own family.

The government has instituted a temporary solution, but another wave of computer viruses has just been found. This time, the malware is targeting America’s power grid. To make matters worse, Kate inadvertently killed the leader of a violent local gang, and there’s a price on her head. Trouble and peril await her at every turn. Plunged into a world ruled by chaos and destruction, her chances of survival aren’t good.

As with all works by Mark Goodwin, this book contains no profanity and no embarrassing sex scenes. However, if you're offended by conservative principles and references to Scripture, this book might not be for you.

Another great book

Most prepper books leave me freaked out. Not Mark’s. I enjoy how he ties in biblical teachings with preparedness skills.

Good christian read!

This book is a little scary because though it is fiction all the events could actually happen one day! Just something to think about.

GOOD SERIES AND STORY

Again A great continuation of the 1st book.
AGAIN TOO MUCH SCRIPTURE
If you take out starting EVERY chapter with bible verse, then you would have a 5 star series
written very well and really makes you want to keep reading , just skip the 1st paragraph of each chapter and a great read!

Wonderful book 2 in Cyber Armageddon series...

Always love the family dynamics, educational components, inspiration, spiritual quotes and thought provoking in all of Author Goodwins books.
Lots of emotion in book 2, but in this situation there would be a lot of emotional trails and tribulations. Looking forward to book 3 in the series...

bible thumper meets end of world

great story but the preaching is far too much, it's like a morman is at your door reading an apocalyptic future story to try and convert you.

straight up great story of what could happen.

the whole book was awsone, just a reminder of what could happen with our country the way our world is going I wouldn't doubt if this could take place tomorrow. The narrator was on target on the whole book I wish she could read all my books.

Getting better

Mark’s writing style and skills have improved over his many books. While the technical details have some gaps the overall story is enjoyable. I think Stacey Glemboski does a very good job with the characters.

Great story and character strength. A big help!

this book is a great help to practice psychologically for the potential for an impending collapse of society. it's a help to be able to practice your own personal responses to different scenarios. it's great to figure out if you are a Peaceable person or an agitator.

The need for God's guidance and friends

I like that there was no cussing with godly principles, good preparedness tips in the realization that we can't do it alone
