Good, but chapter navigation is wretched!

I absolutely love Manly Wade Wellman. His deceptively simple prose sparkles.

HOWEVER, as with a lot of poorly-produced Audible products, the chapter navigation is impossible. Since three-quarters of the stories are multi-"chapter" novellas, each tale is broken up into countless unmarked chapters. I don't mind the overabundance so much as the fact that they're not labeled. Just Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc. There's no way to determine how long a story is without skipping ahead.
FOR SHAME!

Sgt. Jaeger and Judge Pursuivant are excellent!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend it to any friend who enjoys folklore, fantasy, and pulp adventure.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Judge Keith Hilary Pursuivant is an excellent character. Stalwart, confident, and righteous, he is a terror to evil.

What about Brian Troxell’s performance did you like?

His voice is strong and consistent.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book is all about good's triumph over evil. I felt a fierce joy whenever the bad guys lost...
