An Incredible Read!

Fear the Fall was an exciting, action-packed, paranormal romance that will leave you guessing which characters are good, which are evil and which ones are something else entirely. I will definitely be paying attention when Melissa Winters releases new books.
Victoria English was a powerful virtue angel who followed the rules until she gives a human her name. That’s strictly forbidden as it gave the man a certain power over her. It isn’t long before she falls for love only to realize it was a lie. After losing her wings, she spends her time hunting, fighting and killing demonic creatures. This includes vampires, werewolves, and witches. Only these are not the romanticized creatures we're used to on the CW channel. All Victoria wants is to find a way back into heaven, no matter what she has to do or how long it takes.
Victoria easily became one of my favorite female MCs. She is bad to the bone and shows little fear. She has two love interests but who are they really? This story easily drew me in and kept me guessing which was really refreshing. One minute, I felt like I knew who was who, who was evil and who was good, then something would happen to throw me off completely. There is a cliffhanger and I plan to jump into the next book asap. Trust the Fall releases this week. I listened to this audiobook, narrated by Maxine Mitchell and as usual she did a phenomenal job. She’s definitely become my favorite female narrator. I highly recommend this story. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

Awesome world-building.
“She said that God made other plans for me when I fell…”
This gets off to an intriguing start and you can just tell, off the bat, that it’ll be an epic series … despite the high expectations that the opening set, I was not disappointed in the least. This fast became an addictive read thanks to fun, likable, relatable characters (despite their being non-human / supernatural / etc.) and an interesting world.
Recommended read!
