Following a string of disastrous house-sitting assignments, and with recent troubles in her personal life, Thea Osborne is understandably apprehensive about her latest commission: a wintry month in an isolated farmhouse with only an assortment of animals for company.

With the summer lushness of the Cotswolds turned icy grey, Thea spends her first few days exploring more of the surrounding area. She meets some of the mysterious local characters: the unappreciated au pair from Bulgaria and the elusive Kate from a neighbouring farm. But then the weather turns extreme, and so do events. When she stumbles across a man lying dead in a snow-filled field, Thea is once again at the heart of a mystery….

If you could sum up Fear in the Cotswolds in three words, what would they be?

A Great Read.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Thia as the main person in the series. She is kind of an unwilling detective that seems to fall into mysteries where ever she goes.

Another good book in the series.

Good story but too many references to "gut fear", became like a filler to drag out the story.

While I enjoyed Ms. Lennon's narration, I found the story boring beyond belief. I struggled to finish it and probably wouldn't have bothered except that my hands/eyes have been preoccupied the past few days and I thought this would be a good British cozy. Not so! Maybe it's because this isn't the first in the series, but I don't think so. Too much inner dialog, too many weird & rude people. Nor was the plot very interesting. Murky would best describe it all.

Extremely Boring
