Especially around former football star Dimitri Kuvlev: her best friend Nadia’s brother, her forever crush, the one who put a dent in her heart...

Nineteen-year-old Dimitri’s injury brought him from football superstar with universities from all around the country knocking at his door to not knowing what he wants to do with his life. The only person who seems to understand him is the one he swore to keep in the friend zone until he gets his sh*t together: Erin.

Excellent!

This story is incredible — full of mystery, tension, and romance. The characters are relatable and easy to root for, and the writing is evocative and fast-paced. The narration was fantastic, and really complemented the author’s prose. Recommend, especially for fans of romantic suspense!

Loved it!

Lots of twists and turns. Amazing story and the narration was great. I didn't guess the killer until the end.
I saw it advertised for people who love Criminal Minds and that's why I bought it. And I wasn't disappointed.

Mystery & splash of Romance

This is a YA suspense and romance story. It’s set in a small town in Texas. I felt like the theme and characters are appropriate for this genre. I saw several reviews about the language which didn’t bother me and it’s reality how young adults talk. I really enjoyed having the killers point of view woven into this story which you don’t always get to see that layer. The narrator was new to me and I thought she did a pretty good job.

Fear Me, Fear Me Not

This book definitely has some Criminal Minds vibes going on and is such an intense listen that you just can’t stop. I loved everything about this book, even with me being able to figure out who it is that is killing everyone. I will definitely be looking for more from this new to me author.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Disppointed

Once again I find a book with a good story and then the language prohibits finishing it. I was really into the mystery and the romance etc. Well, I do not like foul language and by the time I made it through 6 chapters I knew I could not listen to this book anymore. I am always amazed when an author seems to have such a limited vocabulary that they resort to inappropriate language to express their characters when the dictionary is full of words that are clean and express the idea just as well. I don't like to give negative reviews, but I couldn't come up with anything else for this book.
