I'm sure it is funny!
I reserve the right to update this review when my Portuguese is better. For now, no comment on the writing or the text because I cant honestly comment other than—I’m sure it is funny. The few sentences I understood were clearly funny.
Performance.: This has many readers which served my purpose well. I wanted to read along and develop my listening skills. Having multiple readers helped with that.
The readers are fine but there were some issues for me as a non-Portuguese listener. I wonder if many Portuguese will agree. And as I grow in the language, I might change my mind. However, the readers very dramatic, many times over dramatic so much that understanding the words was difficult even with the text in front of me. I felt that the over dramatics was due to the reader thinking what he was saying and how he was saying it was really funny and it needed to be that way in order to be funny. Some readers would flatline their voice during sections of the text as if they were putting their heads down and just trying to get through it.
