Sebastian Frost was a man with an interesting reputation. He’d killed 12 giants, eight heroes, a duke, and even a prince. But nobody ever talked about any of that. All they talked about was the deviant, disgusting, detestable Herald of Shalia that shamelessly laid with elves. That was because in the strange world based on game mechanics Frost found himself in, laying with elves was somehow treated like laying with animals. Naturally, they weren’t calling him Herald Frost the giant killer....

Warner spent his days like almost anyone else. He got up, went to work, answered phone calls in a call center, went home, spent time with his daughter, and went to sleep. Only to repeat the pattern over and over and over. Life was as mundane as anyone could ever fear it to be. Today was the day that all that would change. On this day, his daughter Maya would be nearly fatally injured, plunging Warner into a world of paranormal creatures, monsters, and magic he’d never known existed. Publisher's Summary
The Mitherfickers are back and ready to bring the fight to the Shinigami!
But before they can do that, they need an audience with the Knights of Non Compos Mentis, the most powerful guild in Tritania. Luckily for them, Ryuk used to be a member of the famed guild, and to get to the guild headquarters, they'll need to level up and figure out a way into a city heightened tight security.
Along their journey to Polynya, the second floating continent of Tritania, the Mitherfickers are joined by a high elf, whose village is being terrorized by a big bad wolf.
Hijinks and violence ensues as they attempt to rid the village of this wolf, the results of which end up opening their guild to new members from a different Proxima world, something Hiccup the goblin isn't too happy about.
Things heat up after the motley guild adventure through the catacombs beneath the city of Porthos, where they are framed for attempted murder and placed in the Empress' dungeon. With no way out, one of the Mitherfickers reveals a secret the likes of which will change the guild's standing in Tritania forever.
Narrated by Jeff Hays, the voice of the Proxima Galaxy, this book has loads of tie-ins with the other Proxima galaxy books including The Feedback Loop series and The Last Warrior of Unigaea.

Harmon, Hays, and Hiccup. Need I say more?
Harmon Cooper is kiling me. The man has created an addiction. A need for more of his stories, and thankfully my supply has not dwindled so far. I can't even space them out, as I have to listen as soon as I get them. His creativity is mind staggering, and if you look at his other works you are going to say to yourself, "Why haven't I read that yet?" Seriously, Feedback Loop was not only impressive, it took Ready Player One smacked it's teeth out, curb kicked it into the gutter, and then drove off in its car. And I LIKED Ready Player One. The Last Warrior of Unigaea switched things up and made you say, "Holy cow of Moscow!" That was a rollercoaster heartbreaking trip that made you wish you hadn't eaten for a week prior to reading because it was so fast and made your head spin.
FO one was like something Tony the Tiger would say, "It's Grrrrrreeaaaaattttt!!!!" PO2 amps it up all the more. The Mitherfickers are back, so you better be ready for them. Since everything was pretty much set up in the first book things seem so go much faster here. We have problems in the real world and the digital, characters flitting from Unigaea and Polynya, and most importantly, we have Hiccup. All I can say is that hiccup would be hated by every other actor if this were a movie or a stage play. He steals every scene and dominates the background. He is the Anti-Jar Jar Binks. Yeah, you reverse cringe when he appears.
Harmon and Hays are the Burch Cassidy and Sundance Kid of the literary world. Harmon outhinks everyone, and Hays does the heavy lifting bringing everything to life. While Harmon writes the lines, Hays animates them with the mystical word of life that they use on golems. Harmon is funny, Hays makes him hilarious. When Harmon draws a sword, it is Hays that makes the cut go deeper. They are a great pairing, like a great Cabernet Sauvignon and a rare-cooked Kobe steak.
I keep leaving out the story. Well, I won't spoil things for you. Just be aware that there is an evil doppleganger making trouble, a brother who is peeved and looking for some payback, and a betrayal to deal with.
Harmon keeps getting better and better. He will look at your expectations, chuckle, and show you some amazing stuff. Best of all, you can now close your eyes as he does so, since Jeff Hays is telling you the tale. Keep on rocking guys.
Even though I did receive a promo code for this review it in no way influenced my considerations of the material, and in fact, inspired me to be more honest. In fact, getting a code generally makes me harsher as a reviewer as I am more often concerned what someone like Me will decide based on my review.
If this review helped, please press the YES below. Thank you immensely!!!

Best Book yet.
I'm really enjoying this Fantasy Online series. I think it's Harmon's best so far. I really like that all of his LitRPGs are connected, but they are still different enough to be their own series. I also like the length of these books, they seem to be just right for this series. The story takes place right after the first book and progresses very nicely. There is the perfect amount of RPG without being overbearing. I was glad to see a Hispanic character. You don't really see them too much in Sci-fi or LitRPG. Jeff Hays is as great as Luke Daniels and Jonathan Sleep. He does individual voices for each character just like Luke does for Magic 2.0 and Jonathan does for Critical failures. These narrators bring these books to life and this is how they should be read.

I still can't stop laughing
This story carries on with the epic adventures of the Mitherfickers. This had everything I liked in the first book, and more. Harmon Cooper continues to weave a tale of intrigue, hilarity, and companionship. Jeff Hays does a masterful job at the narration. The individual character voices are clearly different and suit the character, and the pace is excellent. Highly recommended for fans of fantasy, gamers, and lovers of a lighthearted tale, full of adventure and comic relief. This was a great listen.

Terrific funny fantasy virtual reality story
Fantasy Online, Polynya is the second book in the Fantasy Online series, and it is terrific. The book is action packed and funny. This is part of a series, so while the ending is not a cliffhanger, it will leave readers eager for the author to finish writing next book.
I started reading on my Kindle, then switched to the Audio version when it became available. The Kindle version has fun illustrations included in the book, which I enjoyed, but the narrator of the audio version is great, so I was delighted to be able to finish by listening.
The book contains language, violence, and sexual innuendo. Not recommended for the easily offended.

The mitherfickers are back!
Yes indeed, Ryuk and the rest of the mitherfickers are back (not to mention a few surprise guest appearances from a number of Harmon's other series). Fantasy Online Polynya is the second book in Harmon Cooper's Fantasy Online series. And in a word...it's awesome. As in the 1st book, there are two extremely engaging and intertwined stories taking place, one in the real world and one in the virtual world. I won't post any spoilers, but book 1 ended with quite the twist. And book 2 serves up several more. As with the 1st book, I'm not sure which of the two storylines I find more entertaining. The book is loaded with fast paced action, intrigue, and TONS of humor. Yes, once again Hiccup, everyone's favorite pink-haired goblin, steals the show. This series is just a total blast. Can't wait to see what happens next.
Jeff Hays does a spectacular job narrating this book. Of course I'd expect nothing less from the man. He truly captures the spirit of the book and brings the various characters, especially Hiccup, to life.

Lawnmower Parenting
This story boils down to something very simple. Bad parenting. You have two brothers who are spoiled and the laws that don't apply to them. One brother was kept in a bubble that was sheltered. He never really experienced conflict and challenges to help him grow. So he is surprised at every damn thing and doesn't take action. The other is just out of control criminal and needs to be tossed in jail for a long time.

sequel syndrome
while this is a good book it suffers from the sequel syndrome, the second is never as good as the first... that doesn't mean that it's bad, it gives us and the MC plenty of information that sets everything up for the third book... Jeff does an amazing job as always, though he does need to work on his Snoop Dogg impression :) if you know who Jeff is you know he can sell a book on the sole merit of him narrating it and this is no exception. only thing keeping this from 5 🌟 is that he have gotten even better since he narrated this :)

quicker and less stats reading than 1st book
narration and voices still great and all consistent. still not a fan of reading all the stats but they have been sped up when read in this book and appear to not be read as often. for me it would be a lot easier to follow in audible versions if just the level was given. stats make sense in written format as you can skip them, but when being read all the time it inrerupts the story and too distracting.

After being soundly defeated following the betrayal of Ramona and the unknown avatar, Ryok and the Mitherfickers respawn even more determined to level up and travel to Polynya in search of Sophie and the Knights of Non Composition Mentis. As we follow them, the despicable, foul mouthed goblin, Hiccup, pecomes even more repusively funny, FeeTwix's adoring fans grow (and so does his income) and two more members join their Guild - much to the goblin's disgust. But they are being watched - and in the 'real' world, Kodak continues to plot against his younger brother.
The hilarious journey continues in the Proxima World written with such enthusiasm by Harmon Cooper and read superlatively by Jeff Hays. Not only does each and every character have a distinct and individual voice, the narration is emotion filled and carries the story forward with excitement and frivolous fun. A terrific book in every way - great crazy characters, laugh out loud, if juvenile, humour, fantastic fights, visual imagery, intriguing story and a wonderful narration. What more could any S.F or fantasy fan desire?
Definitely recommended.

It just Stepped up a Notch
After the events of book 1, out guild is out for answers and looking for more danger, members in the good fight , and for some healing potions and lemon pepper flavoured ribs. The story kicks up a notch , the humour goes up 3 and the craziness goes up about 5 but its all good as we learn more about the motivations of our heroes enemies. Reading it would be funny but the voices, expressions and cheer showmanship may just be Jeff Hays best to date. Danger this could cause you to smile and laugh at the most stupid and outrageous sayings ever. I was gifted this and choose to leave a review , as such this is based upon my honest opinion.
