Publisher's Summary

Memory is a tricky business.

No one remembers Maddie May. That's fine with her; just a side effect of umbral magic. Unfortunately, she has to take the magic theory lab at Providence Paranormal College. Maddie won't pass if the professor can't remember her.

Henry Baxter's a psychic vampire who can store total recall for himself and others. He's been in business since 1986, but new regulations mean he needs a degree to keep operating. Going back to college after 60 years on Earth is definitely a drag, especially since society treats vampires as second-class citizens.

The woman everyone forgets and the man who remembers everything seem a natural pair. While Maddie's all for it, Henry keeps pushing her away. But what if the only way they'll survive is together?

Sweet Teen Paranormal Vampire Romance

This is book 2 from the Providence Paranormal College series. This book is even better than Bearly Awake, book 1. There is more world building and a more complex plot. The story is well written with some cultural references, interesting characters, and quite a bit more action than the first one. There is also a bit of mystery woven in with a clean sweet romance between a psychic vampire and an umbral magical girl, which nobody ever remembers.

Narration is well done and brought the story to life.

The story is excellent and the author does a great job developing a great plot with fun intriguing characters. Someone is trying to harm people and they have to figure out who is behind and why.

Great wrapping up of the story and conclusion. I’m looking forward to next book. This is a fun and sweet teen paranormal series.

Fantastic!

Really loving this series! Best listened to in order, story continues from first book and all the same characters. Loved getting to know Maddie and Henry in this one. Can’t wait to see who’s story is next. Loved the narrator! I received a free review copy of this audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Better than book 1, in my opinion

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

As with the previous book, I knew going in this was geared towards a younger audience, but unlike the first one, I didn't have as hard of a time getting into it. The narration was very well done in this book too.

A great nerdy romance story

This is the followup to Bearly Awake, through the point or view of the vampire psychic Henry and Umbral Magus Maddie as they work with others to find out what is attacking the school and how to stop it.

It is littered with pop culture references that are nerdy enough to enjoy, along with dynamic plot that weaves in history and world building settings without drubbing you over the head.

The Narrator's inflection of the characters helps make the story flow very well.

A really fun read!

Excellent characters, lots of fun, and some very interesting Paranormals. Two students are polar opposites except for a common enemy. Lighthearted and a quick read really made my day!

Much Better Than the First Story

Fangs for the Memories: Providence Paranormal College, Book 2 is a great improvement over the first book in the series. The book is still too long and rambles at times. This would have made a much better novella. I was given a free copy of this book for an honest review.

Better then book one.

The first book I found slow going and not engaging. I am glad to say that the second book is different.
we get into the action quite quickly and we get into the mystery early on. We also meet the characters from book one.
There is some profanity (sporadic), no sexual content and some mild violence.
