But their romance takes off as the political campaign ramps up, complicating their relationship with unforeseen consequences. Now always-the-bridesmaid Elise must fight for what she wants to finally get her own happily ever after.

Ticked all the boxes for me!

I’m a sucker for a grumpyxsunshine story and lovely, sweet bond Elise has with her friends made me tear up too. As an asian american, I loved the little bits of the culture sprinkled in and this was such a lovely listen. I’ll definitely tune into more of Julie Tieu’s works.

Love a good love story!

This was a great read. The narrator was spot on. Fans of Jasmine Guillory will enjoy this book.
