A different kind of creepy fun

I didn't know what to expect. The basic premise seems obvious from the beginning and yet still feels creepy as it plays out. The story is well worth a read/listen.

Stay calm! It's all part of the act! [He vomits!]

Fun light reading - for a thriller. Not too heavy and it works great for this story and the characters. I enjoyed it completely. ~JTC~

Fab Cautionary Tale

Where does Famous: A Novel rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I read a lot of Blake Crouch, this is a great listen

Any additional comments?

This is a shorter audio book. I only purchased it because I trust Blake Crouch for consistent thrills when I'm in the mood for this kind of genre. I went into the story straight away. I will just say that I am not into 'celebrity' or that kind of thing and it really didn't matter, this story was so interesting I just kept listening. I love his play on the behavior of real celebrities behind the facade and that is how our main character slips into his new identity - brilliant. I also love the ending. I got sucked in straight away, its like one of those trashy movies you can't stop watching.

BC is my favourite literary junk food and I am not ashamed, not one bit!

Blake is as good or better than Stephen King.

Another great story from Blake. I've read all his books and between Blake and Stephen King I just have to wait for the next book. I know Blake has one he just finished. I'll just have to wait. I think I can read them all again.

Dark humor at it's best!

This early work by Crouch is nothing like his mind blowing sci fi stuff.. . but is definitely an entertaining twisted read. Comically disturbing. Highly recommend!
