Superb performace!!!

I read "Horus Rising" and loved every bit of it. Unfortunately, life has been busy and I haven't had much time to read. I purchased "False Gods" on Audible, so I could continue with the series. Toby Longworth has given an amazing performance. His narration is one of the best I have ever listened to. I was glad to see that Longworth is the narrator throughout the series. I am looking forward to listening to the rest of the series.

Just plain awesome.

The universe of Warhammer 40k brought to life. Voice work is top notch. The story is well written. This rendition makes the betrayal of Horus feel ever more disposable. Worth every penny.

Greatness continued

Amazing story and development. Even knowing some of the plot the suspense is still done wonderfully. Erebus is a dick.

A masterpiece in storytelling!

I'm new to the Warhammer 40,000 universe. I'm amazed by the quality of the narratives written for a tabletop game. These books outshine those of most others in their depth. I can't wait to listen to the rest of this series.

Great ready, interesting story, questions answered

This book is a great continuation of Book 1, Horus Rising, which did a nice job of setting the story on its way, but brought up sooo many questions and ended abruptly.
Astartes and Primarchs become much more developed characters, along with some of the Remembrancers. The influence of Kaos becomes much more apparent with their influence upon the legions.
Toby Longworth does a fantastic job reading the many characters!
