This tenth e-book in the Dominating Discourses series teaches you about arguments which are based around false consequences.
Two related logical fallacies are examined. We have all heard the arguments related to the slippery slope: if one thing is permitted, then eventually everything will be permitted as we'll be starting down a path that can't be reversed.
Related to this are arguments which ask where do we draw the line? These arguments demand precise definitions where none are available. Both types of argument operate by abusing the concept of a continuum to extrapolate false consequences.
This book teaches you how to recognize precisely when and how such an argument is being used, and how to then expose it and shut it down. It also teaches how you can use the same strategies to your own advantage.
