I should have paid more attention to the fact that this is book 3 in a series. Maybe I wouldn't have been so confused on the characters who were thrown into the story, but had no background if I had read the other books. As it was, the author throws the reader into the fray of a large group of quirky characters, who you even have to guess at what age they may be. Also, more character action would have been good instead of all the gossip scenes. Although this was a novella, the story wasn't well structured even for that genre. Also, the narration really bothered me. I am from the south, and can safely say the narrator's voice came across as more whiny then southern. I am not trying to be harsh, just honest.

Ridiculously confusing
