Publisher's summary

A standalone, parallel novel to the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today Best-selling Falling Into You.

The Story You Thought You Knew...

When Kyle Calloway died, he took a part of Nell with him. She wasn't the only one left to pick up the pieces, however; Kyle's death left a gaping hole in the hearts and lives of his parents and his older brother Colton, and ultimately broke the will of the girl he loved.

The Story You Never Imagined...

Becca de Rosa is Nell's best friend. When Kyle died, Nell was so devastated that no one could reach her, not even her best friend Becca. As she tries to help Nell through her grief, Becca's own life is thrust into turmoil, and everything she knows is changed.

Jason Dorsey asked Nell out the week after her sixteenth birthday, but that date never happened. Instead, he ended up going out with Nell's best friend, Becca. He had no way of knowing, then, how that one date would send him on a life-long journey with Becca. He had no way of knowing the tragedies and triumphs he would experience, or that in Becca, he might find the love of a lifetime.

Phenomenally written, and utterly captivating....

Falling into Us is a different journey. This story has it all. Friendship, laughter, hurt, passion, tears, fear, lust, pain and ever lasting love. Jasinda Wilder's writing is even more powerful, even more lyrical. We're led into the beautifully broken world of Jason, Kyle's best friend, and Becca, Nell's best friend. Jason is triumphant in his life. He's a top-ranked football player in high school. He's also hiding physical and emotional pain, and that's before things fall apart with the events described in book one. Becca lives a life controlled her father, and she struggles with a serious stutter and mentally ill older brother. She's extremely intelligent, and overly focused. She's a survivor. This book was beautifully romantic, and heartwarming. There were parts that make you tear up, but for the most part it flowed seamlessly. It's told in alternating POVs from Jason and Becca. This story is highly emotional. You get to experience what it was like for Becca & Jason to fall in love, how they had deal with the loss of a beloved friend, and grow into two amazing young adults. This book was a beautiful love story that spanned over 8 years of Becca and Jason's life. They went through so much sadness and heartbreak, but through it all they had each other. I thought Falling Into You was amazing, but I think I might love this book even more. Becca and Jason were perfect for each other. Their love story was magnificent...to find someone at 16 and never lose the love they felt for each other. Just perfect! The sexual scenes started out sweet, gentle and loving. Both Becca & Jason were under the age of 18 when they first started having sex and I think the author did a tasteful job. As time goes on…Hot, Hot, even Hotter! Energizer Battery none stop hotness!! This book really blew me away. This is a book about surviving life with love. Jason and Becca's story sends them through situations that are heartbreaking and wonderful. Falling Into Us does offer a twist within the story. It was one that I did not so coming and it totally shocked me, but I understand why it was added. It however was an integral part of the story. An epic love story that I highly recommend!!

Another great Jasinda Wilder Story

Once again its a great Jasinda Wilder read. I absolutely love her characters and the stories. I think out of both Falling into You and Falling into Us, Falling into Us was my favorite. The relationship roller coaster between Becca and Jason and the stressors that could tear a relationship apart and the strength these characters possess kept me listening.

Drags on BUT WONDERFUL ENDING.

After liking Falling into You, I was happy to find this book. However just like the first book I found that there were moments where the story just drags. The conversations between the characters just go on & on sometimes that I often was able to tune out yet not miss anything important. By the middle of the book I wondered what the point of the book was but then it picked up and became enjoyable. The ending was so lovely and happy it made me glad I stuck to it.

Gut wrenching and Inspiring!

I accidentally posted this review to the first in the series and don't know how to change it. So, I'm here posting the review to Falling into You. :( Sorry. When I learn how to fix it, I will.

When people gush and gush about certain books and say they’re heart wrenching, I decide I want to read it so badly, but my heart makes me hold off. I finally gave in and, wow, am I glad I did.

This story, this journey, started off with high school kids being best friends and falling in love, and you think it’s a great love. BUT … and there’s always a but, stuff happens. Life happens and it sucks. And this stuff, hurts and had me snot sobbing for most of the book.

This was part of Kyle and Nell’s turning point.

“And now we’re learning how to fall in love together. I don’t care what any one else says. I
love you. I’ll always love you, no matter what happens with us in the future. I love you now and
forever.”

There are real life issues and they gut you. As it says in the summary, her first love dies… and it’s so tragic.
Kyle, during his last breaths can’t stop telling Nell that he loves her.

“You can’t Nell. Just… hold my hand. I love you”

Oh, boy. After his death, the pain and heartache. Jasinda writes these emotions so well. It made me feel like I lost someone. I could feel the pain so vividly. Her characters are well formed, more than, and the words are beautiful.

So, two years later we meet up with Nell again and see that she hasn’t healed, forgotten, or moved on. She’s still stuck in her pain and heartache. And with that pain comes serious issues that are dealt with. Again, Jasinda tackles these issues so well.

But Colton wants to help her, he feels a connection to her. She does also but does not want to admit it.

These are Colton’s words to her.

“I’m still trying to find the words to heal you,
To take your pain and make it all my own
So your beautiful eyes can smile,
So you can be at peace.
And now that Fate has intervened,
Conspired to draw us together,
I can’t resist the lure of your eyes,
The temptation of you beauty,
The siren song of you voice
Whispering my name
In the dark comfort between my sheets.
I can’t resist you, baby,
Because I’m falling still,
I’m falling into you.”

This story and these characters will leave an imprint under your skin. It’s a must read. It’s also the first book in a series, but can be read alone.

THERE ARE NO WORDS TO TELL YOU HOW GOOD THIS IS

If you could sum up Falling Into Us in three words, what would they be?

OUTSTANDING, BEAUTIFUL, AND REALISTIC

What was one of the most memorable moments of Falling Into Us?

Every word is this book is beautifully written and all consuming. There are no word to say what this book will do to your mind, heart and sole. Every emotion you carry in your life, you will experience with this. Get ready.. this is Jasinda Wilder at her best. My best moments is always about Jason and his strength and never ending love for his Becca. And bringing Nell and Cole into this, helped me with the ending of both books, a tear jerking HEA.

What about Gabriel Vaughan and Piper Goodeve ’s performance did you like?

That were outstanding. I knew with each change of voice who it was. They were not only good, but will capture you with each chapter of this book. You can't help but listen and be caught up into everything they were saying. I adored them in both books. I Fell Right into Them!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, two! First Ben. that boy made me laugh and cry. And you have to listen or read this to understand why I choose him. And Second, Jason, with his father. He withstood so many obstacles, he became the better man when he was only a young boy.

Any additional comments?

This is Jasinda Wilder's best written book to date, I have no words to explain what you will feel with this. It felt real, life altering and it could be you or even your neighbors. But no matter who this may remind you of, it hits home, or down the street, it makes you appreciate what is. I listened, stopped, walked around wondering if what was coming was something they could handle. They always did, it was hard, but they would come back and face it head on. They were first loves, an first time lovers, and only knew each other, but they trusted one another so much in every thing. This is a book that is a must have in your collection. My favorite book was Falling into You, until this one. Both her books are now on my must have collection. I always hand these books to anyone that wants to read and hold on to something real. I thought Falling into YOU, was the best ever.. And now Jasinda Wilder took her second book and made me see we all are can with stand more than Nell and Colton did. Which was a lot. Like me, some of you will see part in here that have your life in it. I guess that is why I loved it so much.. This book felt so real, This is what goes on in a young person's life and follows them until they are young adults. It's not sappy, yes, I will say, there are sad times, but don't we all have those. You will laugh out loud, and cheer because of the happy times. And yes you may even cry out load, and finally you cheer them on to a better life. A deserving one. Please don't take this and wrap it up as a sad, sad, story, because it is a love story, and beautiful to behold. It's gentle, lovable, and so sweet to hear. The dark times they have, they hold tight and endure them. Again it is true love at it's best. Don't be afraid to get this book, listen to it, and take it all in. Let it wrap around you and make it your own special love story. Yes this is Jason's and Becca's story, and it fantastically told. It has some amazing love scenes that may even take you back a few years. . Short and to the point, It will be hard to ever replace this one and what it all centers around. Love, trust openness, and honor. The kind you have . It let's you see that opening up and letting someone in to help you thru some of life's harder times is the best thing sometimes. And having someone that is there beside you through life's most enjoyable times as well.. And they have some wonderful journeys. Jason and Becca took what was given to them, and made it work for them. They were adorable, making it work in college in small apartments never once thinking they had it hard, They just kept moving toward what they wanted. They set high goals in high school and made sure each other made it.. Helping each other. As only they could. They are strong, willing to show how much they love on another, and face anything....good and bad, And they did it right beside each other. always holding on to each other. These two had more heart and drive when the odds where so against them. They are driver to make a better life than what they have seen while growing up.. It's shows how parents can become over protective and what that can do to a young mind, You will think about this book if you are a parent or guardian of a life that you are molding. . This books feels like it should be read every so often to reminds us of what is dear and near to us all... For me it was, true love, family, and dear dear friends. Buy this, use your credit, inhale all it has to offer. I don't give a review like this not unless it moves me. And this book did. . Enjoy and Happy Listening. Be prepared to Cheer, Laugh, Wonder, and at cry with them both.endure so much. good and bad.. If nothing else, you will need tissues for the happy times, which you will love, and the sad times. that make you think.. Enjoy.

Another good one

I liked this story. Not as much as the first but it was good. It is always good to have continued storylines as long as they are normal size books. There is alot of emotion in this story but much of the story itself was predictable. It does follow along the same time period as the first story so you can see what happens from another point of view. Now off to download the next one. -Dink

The Stutter Won Me Over

Any additional comments?

-By far one of the sweetest, heart-wrenching, emotional stories I have read in a very long time.
-This book was a sequel that completely blew me away. I thought I would not ever love a book in the series as much as FALLING INTO YOU, but I was so wrong!
-Becca and her stutter completely stole my heart. Piper Goodeve made Becca come alive for me, and I am so glad I got this using Amazon's Whyspersync!
-I did not think I would, but I really enjoyed the way FALLING INTO US begins when they are just kids. This allows the readers to really go on the full journey with the characters, not just hear about past experiences.
-This book made me cry. That is really hard to do, let me tell you. I am usually of the mindset, it is only a book. So what? Wilder made me FEEL unlike any other writer out there.

A Sequel That is Equal...to Falling Into You

I mean it, Falling Into You was simple but Brilliant - Nell, Kyle and Colton, all compelling, with much heartbreak and much love - to me with an ending that couldn't be improved, except to give us more - and Jasinda did that with this book - and made Becca and Jason as compelling as Nell, Kyle and Colton - are they too good to be true ?in some ways yes..but I also thought Jasinda captured real emotions, real impacts and didn't use the old "misunderstandings" separating people for weeks and time on end - without getting to the bottom of what was going on....most of what I loved about these books was the hopefulness - and the fact that these characters didn't let tragedy, conventional notions and guilt stop them from the love we all deserve and allowed them to reach for (and achieve) something more.

Not a fair rating

Any additional comments?

I cant FAIRLY rate this book because I didn't listen to all of it, as I suspected I would not. I did notice from the tiny bit I listened to that even if the book had sucked me in I probably wouldn't have been able to finish because the female narrator's voice made me cringe a little. I only semi liked the first book "Falling into you". But like that one I got this one on sale and figured I already paid for it I may as well listen. PERSONALLY I cannot stand when they try to call it a series when each book is about someone different.... The first book is about the Hawthorne's and Callaway's, the second book is about Becca & Jason, the third book is about Colton & Nell's daughter (where the heck did she even come from by the way), and the fourth book is about Colton & Nell's daughter's boyfriend? What the heck, this "series" is ALL OVER THE PLACE! I listened to the first book. That is enough for me.
