Publisher's summary

Nebraska born and bred Navy SEAL Calvin "Coop" Cooper, after his own family has perished in a tornado, is ordered to meet the family of a prominent San Diego psychiatrist. The doctor's brother is a fallen SEAL medic who died in Grenada. There, Cooper meets Libby Brownlee, the beautiful niece of this fallen hero. Heavily influenced by her father, "We don't speak military here," is her comment about the military in general, and the SEAL community in particular. What starts out as a frosty debate between two people privately dealing with their own personal grief, turns into a passionate affair neither expected. Just as Cooper realizes perhaps Libby is the woman he's always been looking for, she is snatched out from under him by a psychopathic killer bent on revenge. Dr. Brownlee is forced to rely on Cooper's help, along with his buddies in SEAL Team 3. Will Cooper be able to survive the loss of the woman he loves, or will his self sacrifice be enough to keep her safe?

An Improvement over number 1

If you could sum up Fallen SEAL Legacy in three words, what would they be?

This was a great addition to the Seal Series. To be honest, I liked it better than the first one.

This book had more sexy heat, but not as much fighting action as book 1 but I think that is what I liked about it. There wasn't as much action so it wasn't overloaded like book 1 and allowed me to enjoy it more. This had more storyline and didn't have 18 different POV's like the previous book. It focused on the main people instead, allowing me to become more invested into the characters. Only 1 story going on most of the time vs 3 or 4 at the same time.

Like the characters, the storyline and the dialogue between the characters.

This is a multi pov but more focused on Cooper (and the Seals) vs. Libby (but then it is a Seals book so that makes sense)

All in all a good read/listen (have as audio book) The narrator got on my nerves at times but not as bad as in book 1. (yes it's the same guy but I think I'm getting used to him, but he still isn't my favorite.)

So.... would I recommend this book/audiobook? Yes

Would I read more from this author? Yes

A wonderful passioned story with a sexy voice

What did you love best about Fallen SEAL Legacy?

I would have to say the military story that wholes you spellbound with its passion and a very wonderful voice bring it to life.

Which scene was your favorite?

That is a hard question to answer, there are so many parts that I enjoyed. I would have to say the action and thrills. My favorite scene was when Coop and Libby's father sat down and talked. They explain some trying moments in their life and became partners in finding out who was behind what was going on. Coop explained why he didn't drink and Libby's father told Coop why he was such an ass to him when they first met then apologized. It was a very touching scene.

Any additional comments?

Sharon writes wonderful action stories that keep you on the edge of your seats with your mouth hung open saying NO WAY. She puts humor, laughter along with wonderful passion and love into her stories. You have a seal that is use to taking and being in control only to find he doesn’t need to be take over all the time. Cooper is so strong but at the same time looses so much that it makes him human. Wanting to get back into action but knowing that isn’t where he needs to be. Along comes Libby who is beautiful, smart and loving. She is strong but weak who is going through a trying time herself. Add a father who is under presser with all that is going on in his life and a mad man out to bring the family down you have one hot read. Cooper tries his best to walk away but you just don’t leave one behind, with Libby’s uncle being a lost seal they are family. Cooper and his team will do what needs to be done to keep one of their own safe.

The book on its own is an outstanding read but when you put JD Hart’s voice with it, the story comes to life. JD bring many wonderful different voices to the wonderful characters, he makes you feel the laughter, sadness, hope, need, pain, and passion as he spins the tell Sharon writes. Together the author and narrator keep you on the edge of your seat with a story you do not want to put down. This story will break your heart and you want to reach out to each character bring them in your arms for a warm hug, giving them your warmth why telling them it will all work out. It is an audio that you will want to listen to again and again. You will want to go buy the rest of the series to find out what the author has in store for you.

Holy Crap!!!

Okay there is SO MUCH that I want to say in this review BUT as always I hate giving anything away about the plot!!!

I am not exactly sure how Ms. Hamilton does it! You read the summary for a book and go okay this sounds interesting but what is packed into a book of hers and what is put on the back are two COMPLETELY different things. There is hurt so deep that you ache. Passion so intense you feel singed by it. It sucks you in until by the end of the book you feel like you've known these people all your life!

Of course no book would be a great book without a fabulous storyteller like Mr. JD Hart! His deep voice... The depth of emotion that he puts into it... He is the voice of these SEALs!

He shoots.. he scores!

Would you consider the audio edition of Fallen SEAL Legacy to be better than the print version?

Action packed! Heart breaking moments. Thrills and chills. A sandy beach. A damsel in distress. All kinds of HOTness. And mans best friend. What more could you ask for?? Good lord I don't know but I loved this book! Total 5 * but I'd give it more if I could. I love Coop, he's a big bear of a man that's a teddy bear inside when it counts.

Phenomenal read

Fallen Seal Legacy is the perfect addition to the Seal Brotherhood Series. In this book, 2 families are interlinked by 2 different tragedies. Coop isn't looking for love, but it may have snuck up on him anyway. Libby has returned home, after an altercation in college has her wanting to take time off. The sparks between these 2 are flying everywhere, and I'm surprised my phone didn't overheat with all the steamy scenes. When you add the hidden secrets, suspense, and drama in this book, it makes for a perfect road trip audible. I did put the narrator speed at 1.5, but in all honesty it depends on how quickly you like your books read. (I am a fast reader myself, therefore I like my audios to be on the quicker side)

I highly recommend this audible for anyone looking for a phenomenal book

SEAL Team 3 book#2

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would recommend this audiobook because of the narrator, J. D. Hart. He is exceptional with dialects and he makes sure that you can distinguish each character that is speaking during the story.

Would you be willing to try another book from Sharon Hamilton? Why or why not?

Yes. I like this author and she does a good job in describing our active SEAL team members and their dedication to our country. Her plots are smooth and offers insights into all of the characters whether they are main characters or secondary characters.

What does J. D. Hart bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The dialects of some of the other SEAL team members I would not be able to "hear" in my head while reading their dialogue.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

SEAL Team 3 to the rescue.
