Story
Helen is nearly 40, and has, for far too long, had an affair with Matthew, a high-powered, much older, attractive, married man who was once, of course, her boss. After years of being disappointed by missed dates, out-of-the-way restaurants, broken promises, and hushed phone calls, at last Helen realizes it's time to dump Matthew and get on with her life. This, of course, is the exact moment when Matthew decides to leave his wife for her.

The white-washed Italian villa is perfect. I thought it might feel odd, living in a stranger’s house for the summer, but as my husband and children swim in the infinity pool, I start to relax. And then, in the back of a wardrobe, I find something that shatters everything.... Sparkling green eyes, square jaw, lopsided smile. A young man with his arm around a beautiful woman. The picture is old and faded, but I’d recognize him anywhere. The man is my husband.

Penguin presents the audiobook edition of Faking Friends by Jane Fallon, read by Sally Scott and Kristin Atherton.
Best friend. Soulmate. Confidante. Backstabber.
Amy thought she knew who Melissa was - then again, Amy also thought she was on the verge of the wedding of her dreams to her long-distance fiancé. When her career begins to unravel, she pays a surprise trip home to London. Her boyfriend Jack is out, but another woman has been making herself at home.... And that Other Woman is Melissa.
Amy has lost her job, her fiancé and her home in one disastrous weekend - but instead of falling apart, she's determined to get her own back. Piecing her life back together won't be half as fun as dismantling theirs, after all.

Smart and unpredictable
Loved!!!! It’s as if I’ve found another author like my beloved Sophie Kinsella! Now I’m going to go listen to all of her other books!

If you'll looking for an easy relaxing story this is one. It's a real chic story but keeps you interested. I enjoyed it without having to figure out who's who.

Captivating story that keeps you listening.
Narrators were very well done. The story moved along quickly without rushing and kept you listening so that you may find out what happened next. An entertaining story, but also a thought-provoking one.

Great!
Loved this book! Lots of stuff I didn't see coming! Great story in the beginning, but really picked up the pace in the middle. Definitely kept me listening!!

What fun! Loved every minute of it.
Everyone who has had a “frinemy” will relate to this story. Well written, and performed (I had the audible version), this book was a delight & had my full attention from the start. I found myself making excuses to drive places just so that I could listen to more of this book. This was my first book by Jane Fallon that I have read. It won’t be my last.

COULD NOT PUT THIS ONE DOWN
This book is on my all time favorites list. What a great book that you just won't be able to stop listening to, therefore it will be over within hours or a few days, as in my case. Hate when that happens, thus I now have to find a new book to listen to. Story line kept me intrigued and I will definitely recommend this one to even my more snobby book reader friends!!!

Great book!
I loved this book! So engaging and always keeping you guessing! Has some adult language, so I had to turn it down when the kids were in the kitchen. 😉 Still loved it!
