Publisher's Summary
Faith's charmed life is complicated by her romantic feelings for her uncle's apprentice, but will her family's interference and criminal accusations keep her and Nico apart, perhaps forever?
Blessed from the moment of her birth, Faith Davenport is adored by everyone and has led a life guided by her charitable, Christian parents. At ease with her family's expectations and her own strength of belief, she finds creative joy in exploring her Uncle Will's architecture business.
Nico d'Amici is thrilled with the opportunity to apprentice to Will Travers, well-known for his practical and unique architectural designs, but discovers a deeper emotion when a friendship with Travers's kind, beautiful, and intelligent niece intensifies. Faith's best friend, her cousin Thomas, intervenes, but his efforts to keep them apart are nothing compared to accusations of theft that threaten not only the friendship between the three of them but Nico's very freedom.
Can Faith live up to her name as an example of trusting in God's strength as she fights what may be a losing battle to save the man she loves from prison?

Fun New Series!
Faithful in Love was a very enjoyable story. It is the beginning of the new Cliff Walk Cousins series. This story can be read as a stand alone novel, yet the main characters who appear in this series are the children of the main characters from the connected series, Cliff Walk Courtships, and their parents do appear many times in this book. I thought that the author did a good job of giving enough background information about the prior series without there being an information overload.
I really liked the main characters, Faith and Nico. They were genuinely nice people and it made me hope for the best for them. This story kept my interest and included not only the beginnings of a beautiful romance, but also family angst, trouble with the police, and touched on the topic of discrimination.
I listened to the audio version and thought that the narrator did a good job. She also narrated the books in the first series, so I was familiar with her style of narration. I look forward to future books in this series.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

A wonderful story!
I really enjoyed listening to this book. There were a few things I wish the story had, like more time with the two main characters and not so much other things going on in the plot. However overall it tied together nicely, and being the first in a series I really hope to hear more about these characters as the series goes on!

Christian romance
This is my first book by this author. I first thought that Faith’s cousin, Thomas, was in love with her. It is her adoptive cousin. But he was just protective of her. I thought thomas and Nico were going to have a rivalry over Faith but it turns out Thomas just wasn’t going to like any man that was interested in his cousin. This book focused on having faith through trials and on the blooming love of Nico and Faith. It also touched on prejudice.
I didn’t read the first series that I am guessing featured Faith’s parents and Aunt and Uncles so I felt like I was missing part of the book. It is definitely a stand alone but I think I would recommend reading that series first.

Family and faith
This is a sweet story of a family and their faith in God. The good they did for their community with their position in upper society as well as true love old and new.
I found the main character Faith to be way beyond naive which made the story a little unplayable. At twenty she was sheltered from ordinary life situations which made her seem simple minded. With that said, if you can over look that there is a good clean story to entertain. This book is filled with love, loyalty, trust and family ties.
There narrator has a smooth, calm voice as she reads which makes listening easy.

Clean Christian romance
This was a cute story. It talks about God and scriptures but it’s not over the top preachy. I thought the characters were nice and the ending was happy. The narrator was just ok for me. She did a good job reading and I wasn’t too bugged by her voice but I didn’t like that she made faith and her brother sound like 8 year old kids. All in all a cute story though.

Very Descriptive
Faithful in Love is a clean romance story set in the late 1800's in America. The author is very descriptive in her writing style and presents a varied array of characters. The narrator spoke clearly and wasn't unpleasant to listen to. The narration was a little slower than I typically enjoy but nothing a little bump in the speed couldn't fix. Overall I would recommend this book to listeners who are looking for a clean romance that takes you on a nice little journey in time.
