Ryan Babineaux and John Krumboltz, psychologists, career counselors, and creators of the popular Stanford University course “Fail Fast, Fail Often,” have come to a compelling conclusion: happy and successful people tend to spend less time planning and more time acting. They get out into the world, try new things, and make mistakes, and in doing so, they benefit from unexpected experiences and opportunities. Drawing on the authors’ research in human development and innovation, Fail Fast, Fail Often shows readers how to allow their enthusiasm to guide them, to act boldly, and to leverage their strengths - even if they are terrified of failure.

Reseñas de la Crítica

"Big goals are great - but not if they're paralyzing. In this fun and inspiring book, Rabineaux and Krumboltz show that taking small steps and accepting failures ultimately lead you down the path to success." (Laura Vanderkam, What the Most Successful People Do Before Breakfast)

I love the perspective of this author. It's reassuring to hear that big lofty, perfect, goals can be overwhelming and theres a better, easier, more enjoyable way to accomplish things successfully. This book is written and read very understandably. I absolutely love it. I will probably reread and take notes so I don't forget things. Highly recommend.

Overall, it was a decent read. I feel, however, like the author failed to fully develop the overriding theme to the degree he could have. Largely, this was a rehashing of ideas that are far more fleshed-out in other books. There was very little original research to bring anything new to the table.

Not as original as it could have been

Interesting perspectives to help you find direction in your life. There were some platitudes, but still worth listening to. The narration was understandable but flat. Would give three and a half stars if I could.

Direction and motivation to start change

Excellent book. Listened to it cover to cover and came back both more motivated and ready to conquer my fears once and for all.
