I've been in digital marketing for nearly two decades and new ways of attracting customers pop up all the time. Facebook has done so much with their advertising platform and couple that in with all their user data, that results in the perfect place to reach your targeted audience.

I've dabbled in their platform with some mild successes and have been looking for a book to unlock its full potential. This is the book to get, folks. Not only does is dive deep into how Facebook Advertising works, it breaks down all the targeting and analytics behind it in a very easy to follow format.
In this guide, you will learn how to create all the different ad formats that's available to you on Facebook's platform: Leads, Dynamic Product, Canvas, Collection, Slideshow, App Installs, and Offer Ads. Not only does this book show you how to set these ads up, the author tells you which one to set up and why so there's less trial and error on your part.

Since the content is fresh, the instructional screengrabs inside the book are up to date so it makes it easier to go through each step along with the book. And because Facebook owns Instagram, readers will also learn how to target users on there as well.

It took about a week of nightly reading to get through everything and I've already set up several new campaigns which are performing beautifully so far!

This book has been such a powerful tool for me and my partners. Initially, ​we thought because we are Facebook users that it would be an easy task. We found out that hard way that strategy is everything!! This book helped us create our strategy and now we are reaping the benefits. We found this book to be well written and so easy to apply. Social Media Marketing Workbook by Tony L. Cardone

Social Media Marketing Workbook by Tony L. Cardone is chocked full of information about how your business can use social media to market your products. One of the most impressive aspects of this book for me was the fact that it was broken down into specific sections. Social media is such a broad term that a book could give generic information and call it valuable. But McDonald’s book actually breaks down each different social media platform and gives specific advice on how to market effectively on each one! Marketing on Facebook is incredibly different than marketing on Twitter. Many books would give the same generic advice for both, but not Tony L. Cardone ! He gives an over the top amount of content that is specific to each platform.

I also liked the numerous pictures and screenshots that helped give a visual explanation. Because each social media platform is different, it was nice to have something to look at to actually see what Tony L. Cardone was talking about. There were a number of free resources within the book, too, that would either explain in more detail or offered a video tutorial to help you understand the step by step instructions. I plan to go back and watch some of those videos, especially in the platforms that I plan to market at.

Whether or not you need all of the information about every one of these social media platforms, there is bound to be information that is valuable to you. Even if you only need one of the sections, it is worth buying this book. You never know when you might want to branch out into a different arena!

This book is worth substantially more than what I

This book is worth substantially more than what I paid for it. I have never seen a clearinghouse of information like this that is related to online marketing. The book takes an in-depth look at marketing on all of the major social media sites, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and even Pinterest. The last couple of chapters deal with handling reviews, using SEO, and marketing via email. I particularly enjoyed the section on reviews, as the author covers not only asking for reviews but handling reviews that do not paint a picture of a company in the best light.
The email chapter gives terrific insight on how to get a company’s email read and how to develop an email marketing campaign. This book is also easy to read, it is written in a casual, informative style that really makes you feel like you are sitting with the author and having a conversation. I would recommend this book to business owners or anyone who is in charge of marketing for companies of any size.

I have been thinking about opening my own small bu

I have been thinking about opening my own small business based around hand-bound books for a while and have been stumped on one specific part of running a business: marketing. What websites do I use to advertise? Do I buy advertising? How does Twitter work and should I have one? All of this and more were on my mind when I ran across The Social Media Marketing Workbook and I think I finally have answers to those questions and more. Before reading this book, I thought Facebook was something I could ignore during social media marketing since it’s a little old school, but now I realize it can be really useful if I’m looking to connect my business to a specific crowd and age of people. Similarly there is so much information on LinkedIn and how to use it compared with other sites for marketing my business. I think the best thing about this book is its setup. Each chapter is like a week-long lesson in a classroom with in-depth information and assignments to complete to take you along a path that leads to a fully fledged marketing plan. Not only do I have a ton of knowledge on marketing online now, I also have a pretty substantial marketing plan laid out as well. I vaguely mentioned this already, but this book comes with a lot of online resources and worksheets as well that can be accessed after purchasing the book. For me, that is what put this book over the edge for me into pure awesome. Having worksheets and other resources easily accessible online made the whole experience an A+.

I had a couple frustrating experiences with creating my first events and ads on Facebook and decided to check this book out. The layout is clean and simple to navigate and makes it easy to find what you're looking for. The definitions for all of the jargon involved was very helpful. This seems particularly helpful for individuals who are just starting to learn about social media advertising.

I am curious how much of the information will change or continue to be accurate as Facebook's system evolves

This complete guide to Facebook advertising is just that - absolutely complete. It walks novices like myself through every step so clearly. The text is in plain English and lots and lots of graphics of screen shots to help the beginner understand. Even experienced people will find that there is information they didn't even realize they didn't know. I particularly found interesting Chapter 12 The Psychology of Facebook Ads and Chapter 13 Best practices with helpful hints on caption writing

Fabulous book, upon receiving at I thought at firs

Fabulous book, upon receiving at I thought at first glance, that I would be overwhelmed with the size and amount of information contained within. But upon looking through the book and getting down into how Facebook allows that user to advertise, it is super easy to follow. There is a wealth of information including analytics on how to narrow your target audience to your specific product. Brian is the CEO of his company AdvertiseMINT, by by sharing his knowledge and expertise, this book is a way for me to get on Facebook and start generating Revenue for the product that I sell.

Wow wow wow! I've been doing digital marketing and advertising for a few years now, but recently decided to step up my Facebook game. I turned to Brian's book and it gave me a COMPLETE rundown of the Facebook advertising platform. From running DPA's to carousels to video ads (if you don't know what these mean then pick up this book!!). It has sooo many tools, tricks and walk-throughs that will teach you everything you need to know. I cannot recommend this book enough!

This book is invaluable to anyone who wants to start Facebook advertising, at any level. It can bring someone who's never run a Facebook ad to a pro status. I've only dabbled in FB ads myself, and I found this book incredibly enlightening.

This book walks you through all of the steps to creating a successful Facebook ad campaign, no matter what you need to use the ads for. I liked that it could be used by anyone. I also found the pictures very helpful, and his expertise is invaluable. It incorporates Instagram ads as well, which the author says might be the future, so this is important. I particuarly enjoyed chapter 12 and 13 about making your ads stand out from the rest.

I would recommend this book to someone who is looking to start with Facebook ads and doesn't know where to start. It's a great resource.

Good One

Are you struggling with Facebook ad campaigns? You’re not alone. I, too, have struggled to understand Facebook’s ever-changing ad system. That’s why I am so pleased to have discovered The Complete Guide to Facebook Advertising by Brian Meert. Starting with setting up your page and explanations of the terms you will encounter, this book covers all the steps needed to create and set up all types of successful Facebook promotions. I was so green to promoting myself and site on Facebook that I did not know the FB business manager existed prior to reading The Complete Guide to Facebook Advertising. Even as inexperienced as I was before reading this well written and structured book, by utilizing the advice in this book, I was able to gain more control over my future promotions by setting up my FB business account, creating my first pixel, and I have also started managing my page using the business manager. Thanks to the concise yet comprehensive guidance found in this book, I know that my campaigns will be set up and targeting correctly. By doing things right from the beginning I will be making the best use of my time and money.

Facebook has a large audience of users that fit into almost any category. These users are almost constantly checking their devices for new updates and Grant Robbins, Tony L. Cardone’s book allows businesses with any budget, large or small to take advantage of this clientele. The book is extremely easy to understand, with very basic instructions and illustrations. The instructions are step by step with guided photos, screenshots that show what your screen should look like as you are setting up ads for your business. This is extremely relevant in this day and age because people are no longer looking at newspapers and magazines for news. They are looking at their phones and other devices. Therefore, savy businesses need to tap the growing market and go where their customers are. This means going to social media and reaching Facebook’s two billion user potential.Grant Robbins, Tony L. Cardonealso walks you through how to construct an eye-catching ad, how much text versus how many images and how to interpret your insights on your ads in order to re-evaluate what is working and what is not.
