Publisher's Summary

I've never messed around with a guy before. Not that I haven't been attracted to guys. The opportunity just never came up.

I stand at the front door, naked. My bro's roomie, Scott, is pissed about how much noise I made with the girl I just escorted out of their apartment, but I figured we were alone, and I couldn't help that she liked to scream out to let me know she was enjoying herself. Just like I can't help that the raging boner I have right now is for Scott, not her. I don't know what it is about the angry glare he's giving me that turns me on so much, but I just want to tug on his curly brown locks and hear him call out my name as I show him a good time.

Scott doesn't want anything to do with me. At least, I think that's the case, but I learn just how wrong I am one night when we wind up tearing each other's clothes off and racing for the bedroom. He blows my mind...and well, me too. We spend the next few days messing around before I head back to California. That's supposed to be the end of it. But after my sister makes a crap investment on a rundown house near my bro's apartment in Atlanta, I jump at the opportunity to help her fix it up. I don't want her to have to stay with our parents, who I've avoided since I left for college - don't get me started.

Scott volunteers to work on the project too, which gives us plenty of time to have a little fun together. It's supposed to be about fixing up the house, but the more time I spend with him, the more I realize it's not the only fixer upper Scott's working on. He's doing something to me - making me better. And even though I'm heading back home when this is all over, I don't want it to end. Because I'm falling for Scott...so hard.

FU is a steamy standalone romance novel with no cheating, no cliffhangers, and a totally adorable happily ever after.

Emotional Rollercoaster

I've never been so emotionally invested in characters in a book. At times I yelled at Scott for being a dumbass and I might have teared up a little at the end...don't tell anyone.

some things that were off

Any additional comments?

I thought Scott was just too uptight and defensive to be likable. Most importantly, Mikey's sexual attraction to Scott based only on his facial looks was weird and downright unbelievable.
I got the hiding from the brother but when the brother caught them and announced he was gay too I just threw my hands up and gave up! That seemed a bit unnecessary in my opinion but by this point I was so bored out of my mind I was rolling my eyes at almost every sentence!

Great male/male read

I checked this out for free with unlimited and just had to buy it and figured I might as well get the audible upgrade.
Loved Mikey and Scott, they worked well together. Some parts were frustrating but worth it in the end.
The narrator did a great job voicing Mikey and well with Scott. I'm pretty sure I've listened to this narrator before and my only complaint is that when he's trying to convey urgency or passion he speaks really fast. Just seems very rushed.

I loved it!

I really enjoyed this book. I read a lot of gay romance novels and you are quickly becoming my favorite author! I especially like how you involve the dynamics of the family and how it impacts us as adults. I grew up gay in the South as well and it wasn’t easy surviving the Baptist guilt!
The sexy scenes are very enticing but what I really like is how you develop the story line and bring the characters to
Life. I find this to be missing in some of the books I listen to.
I live in Atlanta’s as well and it’s fun to hear the local haunts that your characters visit. I will
Listen to all of your books on audible. “ Up for the Challenge” is cued up for my listening pleasure.
Thank you,
Cecil McCall

Eh

Overall good story. The narration at time bothered me. Yes, it’s nice to differentiate characters with a different voice, but these were a bit distracting.

amazing

I loved this book so much! I have listened to it twice and feel like I probably will again. I loved everything about these characters. That end was just perfect. Everyone needs to go read/listen to this book.

This story is so flippin' hot!

This story is smokin' hot. It's got very funny banter and also some real feelings, too. The narrator does a great job.
