Great for studying

Any additional comments?

Since this is a chemistry textbook, the "story" isn't going to be a story. However, coming from a student, reading the material as well as listening to it helps immensely (especially when the tricky parts come around). I would definitely recommend having the audiobook for anyone who is taking this course.

Not real science.

Any additional comments?

The bible references have to go. Science and god speak should never be in the same book; one is fact one is fiction. Horrible book for someone who actually wants to learn about chemistry.

bunch of Theology bullshit contaminating science

leave religion out of science, which this book does not. Every single chapter starts with how chemistry relates to God. RELIGION IS NOT SCIENCE

Only If you're on the go and need to revise

First of all, If you don't have the physical book in front of you or do not have at least a strong grounding in chemistry it will be near impossible to follow anything discussed in this book.
The text constantly refers to images, figures and equations that are not easily accessible and need to be seen to be understood.

However, if you just need to revise some core chemistry in preparation for more advanced chemistry classes and only have 16h to do it. This may do the trick. It just about covers all the basics and will help jog your memory.

You just have to put up with a little rant in every chapter about how each topic affirms not only god but all Christian beliefs which for the most part is pretty short and tolerable. Save one horrendously hypocritical and out of the blue attack on Charles Darwin in the middle of a section discussing the relationship between pressure and temperature.

I'm sure there are much better audio textbooks out there but unfortunately as far as I can see it is the only one available on audible.
