The Chevalier Sanctorum have stood as humanity’s guardians for millennia, knights at the edge of the cosmos battling enemies born from nightmares. But when the relentless Syndroids—a race of synthetic horrors—push the galaxy to its breaking point, the powerful Federation of Humanities remains blind to the war’s true scale, ignoring warnings of annihilation while pursuing their own agendas.

Meanwhile, Berto, a disillusioned engineer on Earth, finds himself inexplicably drawn into a conflict he’s woefully unprepared for. When two mysterious women crash into his life, they reveal truths about the galaxy—and himself—that are as terrifying as they are unavoidable. With the fate of countless worlds in the balance, Berto must decide whether to rise to the call or remain a pawn in a war beyond his comprehension.

As ancient technologies and omega brainwaves awaken, alliances will be forged, loyalties tested, and sacrifices made. Can humanity prevail against an evolving machine enemy that knows no mercy? Or will their brightest defenders be crushed under the weight of their own secrets?

**For fans of *The Expanse* and *Warhammer 40K* comes an epic tale of war, loss, and redemption at the edge of the galaxy. Packed with pulse-pounding action, unforgettable heroes, and a mystery that spans eons, *EXODUS* heralds the rise of a thrilling new space opera saga.**

The story was good enough. Granted it was a bit derivative of many other stories like it. But it was good enough to hold up on its own.

I likely though will not follow up with any of the other books in the series because of the poor quality of the AI audio. It suffered from poor pronunciation of the character's names even if repeated in the same sentence, abysmal inflection, and many times a cadence just as bad. It was an irksome listen even though I stuck around for the story itself.

This is not meant to be derogative toward the author, as I think it was a well written story.

AI Audio was a bad choice.
