#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • Jack Reacher will make three stops today. Not all of them were planned for. The “blockbuster” (Esquire) new Jack Reacher thriller from #1 New York Times bestselling authors Lee Child and Andrew Child, featuring “the best villain yet” (USA Today)!

Don’t miss the hit streaming series Reacher!

First—a Baltimore coffee shop. A seat in the corner, facing the door. Black coffee, two refills, no messing around. A minor interruption from two of the customers, but nothing he can’t deal with swiftly. As he leaves, a young guy brushes against him in the doorway. Instinctively Reacher checks the pocket holding his cash and passport. There’s no problem. Nothing is missing.

Second—a store to buy a coat. Nothing fancy. Something he can ditch when he heads to warmer climates. Large enough to fit a man the size of a bank vault. As he pulls out his cash, he finds something new in his pocket. A handwritten note. A desperate plea for help.

Third—wherever this bend in the road takes him. Impressed by the guy’s technique and intrigued by the message, Reacher makes it his mission to find out more . . .

Reseñas de la Crítica

“Thirty books in, and Reacher is still as sharp, relevant, and unstoppable as ever. What I love most about him is that mix of simplicity and strength—he’s a man who lives by his own code, never afraid to throw a punch when it’s called for, and he doesn’t wait around for backup—he just gets the job done. It’s an honor to help bring this iconic character to life on screen while the books keep thrilling readers around the world.”—Alan Ritchson, star of REACHER on Prime Video, in People

“The Reacher books are an art form unto themselves . . . [Child] trusts his story and his character—and he trusts us, the reader—and every chapter of the book is its own adventure. . . . Now, with Exit Strategy, we have the 30th Jack Reacher thriller, and it’s a blockbuster.”Esquire

“Consistency is key. . . . [Exit Strategy] has the best villain yet.”USA Today

“Exactly what fans of the long-running series want . . . features one of the series’ most interesting villains . . . it’s sure to please.”Booklist

Narrator Scott Brick is the worst of all. You can skip ahead at random and every single sentence of dialogue is exaggerated excitement. Unlistenable! I hope Lee and Andrew Child hire a more rounded voice actor going forward because Scott Brick has only one expression. I would leave Zero stars for performance, if possible.

Scott Brick should retire.

Scott Brick is my number one favorite narrator. And Reacher is my number one series, followed by Orphan X. But I've questioned Scott's voice and narrating style on Reacher stories since his entrance. And that very well may be due to being used to Dick Hill for so long. (RIP) But this book was hard to listen to. I found myself having to rewind multiple times. Scott's performance for some reason feels way too dramatic for Reacher in this one. I haven't gotten too far, and I need to go back to the Reacher book I stopped listening to, in order to listen to this one.
I'll come back and give it another try, later.

I'll have to come back to it.

I so miss Dick Hill, its not that Scott Brick is bad, the narration just doesn't capture the voice of Reacher like Dick Hill's did.

I so miss Dick Hill

I really miss dick Hill, he made reacher. Overall, I like the book would definitely listen again.

Plot twist

I am a raving fan. Listening to all the Reacher books again and again.

This book was very enjoyable and I was hooked wanting to keep listening to see what comes next in the plot.

As a fan - I would request that there be more books related to his time as an MP with the Special Investigators.

The problem I am not able to ignore is Reacher is hopeless when it comes to modern digital technology and stories set in current times just make him seem out of touch. But as an MP while still enlisted - there was none better and the Army adventures were the most engaging in my view.

Really enjoyed it.
