regardless of your political persuasion this book will make you think. if you are at all interested in global events or geopolitics I highly recommend this book

America is not perfect...

but who else would you trust more to defend freedom? If you're honest, you must admit there will always be men who desire power. They first seek it in their own region or nation, and then move to expand. Is it better to be prepared or unprepared for their aggression? There's not a lot of kumbyas being tweeted out by Iran, ISIS, Russia or China suggesting that they're going to disarm anytime soon.

Sometimes people say what you don’t want to hear! I hope Iran, Russia, and China don’t bother reading this book and hope Trump does.

Fair and Balanced with Truth

I honestly appreciated this book. Thank you Vice President Cheney and Liz Cheney. Your words of wisdom and warning are much needed to be said. It's about time a book is written that explains the path of distraction our current president has put us on. I believe every American should take time to listen or read this book. You will have a better understanding of the chronological events that have happened that need immediate attention. The book reminds us of how "Exceptional" we as American truly are!

Good ending, surprising info about current adm err

Astounding to hear level of degradation in America 's defense, economy, global political standing and quality of people since the Kenyan immigrant was elected wrongly and through affirmative action in 2008. He also discusses a viable plan to save our nation in the year's ahead, reversing the retreat of America in the world authored by a left wing politician who admitted he has been a member of a mosque before. The Chinese are building new technology and weapons faster than ever including hyper sonic missiles and directed energy weapons while we neglect our defense under the current administration policy not to research new needed defense technologies.

Another home run by the Vice President, aptly aided by his daughter. Let's hope the next President follows the recommendations.

A must read

This well written analysis of current American foreign policy is a must read. From the misspelled reset button handed to the Russian representative to the elimination of our defense footprint around the world. This book contrasts the way foreign policy should be done (that works) vs. the armature and foolish way it is done today. The cost of conformance with security and defense requirements around the world, in the long run, is far less expensive than the game of "catch up" the US will have to pay going forward after "leading from behind" for 7 years. All students, military personnel and politicians should read this book. The reminders of poor "Iran Deal" and the reduction in the US nuclear capability are the most damning part of this book. Get a copy today
