What an amazing treasure of a book!

Sure.

* Especially, Index & Match, advanced version of vlookup & hlookup serves purpose in so many report where we do not have to look for first column
* Pivot Table, yes of course for generating reports
* There are so many things which supports in our daily office activities, like report generation based on division wise, category wise & so on. That is really fantastic.
* Macros & VBA saves lot of time.

A1

i cannot say enough good things about this course. I was literally afraid of Excel before I took this, completely intimidated. Bahl is awesome, the pace is perfect, the step by step explanations really help to learn the concepts. He explains why we use what we use which really makes a big difference in understanding how to execute the concept. Daniel is a wonderful instructor as he has the access of his address. This was more than worth the money. I can't remember the last time I took such an informative, valuable, straight forward course. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who does not feel completely comfortable using excel, this is a game changer!!

Gets you far, gets you there fast.

Daniel is an excellent teacher. I've since signed up for his other courses on Word and Access because I liked his teaching style so much. He's easy to understand and follow along with, also his choice of narration goes at a good pace, and seems to actually like what he does. Highly recommend. I was already at intermediate level, but this helped me learn new basics I'd missed and it took me all the way through the advanced level and programming macros.

This course provides a superb summary of Excel and its features from beginner to advance level. Having used Excel for so many years, the lessons have greatly improved if not elevated my understanding of the application. Daniel has done an amazing job giving a structured content but at the same time allowing his audience to practice each lesson with flexibility. Thanks Daniel!

Visual Excel

I've had a few years of experience in Excel but this still guided me a lot of different ways to utilize the proper formulas/automating. Great course and teacher. Always clear with his words.

A seniors guide to the computer

Yes, I'm enjoying your course very much, indeed. Your teaching style is excellent. You make it easy to follow you. My main interest is to use this program to help me with my astrometeorological studies. I have a number of Tables and Queries in Access and am anxious to import them into Excel to do Slices, etc., etc.

Just keep doing what you're doing - excellent and effective.

P.S. I'm a retired accountant and taught the full Office suite about 10 - 15 years ago.

Have a Blessed Day, Mr. Jones

Everything at your fingertips

The larger data files will sometimes contain duplicate values. You may be working with a list of contacts for a business, but you only want to see what companies are on your list. In a situation like this, you may discover that there are duplicates, and this will be when removing duplicate information will be helpful. To get rid of the duplicates, you must first highlight the line or column where the duplicates are located. From there, you will go to the Data tab and select the option that says ‘Remove Duplicates’ (this can be found under tools. Then, a window will appear on the screen asking you to confirm that you want to get rid of this data, by selecting the Remove Duplicates option once more, all the duplicates will be removed. This feature can also be used in removing an entire row if there is duplicate information in it. Therefore, if you have three rows of data and you only need to look at one., you may click the entire data file and remove all the duplicates based on what is in your data. The list that is left will only contain one set of the data without there being any duplicates in it.

Amazing book

Great book. Most of it is still way over my head, but it has been a great resource for my projects. I was able to use it to work through a few of my issues. I think the smarter you are the more use you will have for it. It will take you from beginner to very advanced level programming! Love this book!
