Changed my life!

Before reading this book, I was seriously lost in my fight for sexual integrity, but this book acted as a tremendous tool for the fight! Thank you for the weaponry against the enemy!!

Overly Wordy and Drawn Out For a Few Simple Ideas

Was this book only 6 hrs and 45 minutes because it felt like 18 hours. I bought this because it was recommended to me, but by chapter 10 the author was just starting to give advice. Had this been condensed to about 30 minutes, that would contain all the necessary content with enough illustration. The rest was overly graphical stories which will further tempt you. The last several chapters read like a bad late night infomercial.

I'll sum up the book real quick -
1. Hate your sin
2. Make a covenant with your eyes (see the book of Job in the Bible)
3. Bounce your eyes

Excellent counsel across the board

While there are a few sections that I found more graphic than I think necessary, the counsel is solid and extremely helpful. The authors cover subjects that are just flat out not approached in other counseling. Difficult difficult subject hit head-on. If a person will follow the counsel given he will overcome, through these efforts and a firm faith in Christ. Well done brethren!

What were they thinking?!

This book contains graphic descriptions of the exact kind of things it is trying to help guys avoid. I had to stop reading halfway through because I don't want any more of those images in my mind. It is a real shame because we need good help with this stuff. In my opinion the authors defeat their purpose, and possibly make the problem worse for some people. I can't in good conscious recommend this book to anyone.

Excellent

This is a great book for any and all men who want to stay away from pornography and honor their wives. It also contains some info on helping your son avoid porn. Great help in choosing right and following God.

Very helpful and relevant

This book gave me the "tools" I needed to finally address and kick the last remains of my habits regarding lustful thoughts. I had previously given up and just figured I would have to live with it for the rest of my life and strive to minimize it. This book taught me that I actually don't have to settle for "excellence" - but can actually achieve the goal of "obedience."

Of course, I'm still alive and don't know the future and perhaps will find that I haven't eradicated these thoughts 100%. But so far, so good. It seems that I have. And it has actually improved my relationship with my wife and our sex life, which I was satisfied with before. But it's gotten even better. Am I allowed to say that in a review? Oh well. It's true and I'm thankful to this book and the guys in my Promise Keepers group (yes, they still exist) who recommended it to me.

Just what I needed when I needed it most.

Well there is not a lot to say, you either believe and you are willing to do what it takes for your family, or you don't and won't.

Life changing book, it will challenge you

I liked all the honest and real examples used in this book to express the seriousness of the battle all men struggle with.

I would recommend this book to any male that seeks healthy relationships.

I believe that this rating doesn't do justice for how powerful this book truly is.

Degrading

As a Christian wife there’s nothing more degrading than being put in a position of disrespect, men’s physical need fulfilling, and compared to food for consumption. This book makes it sound as if women exist only to please others and their own pleasure isn’t even an afterthought. It’s all about keeping the men satisfied so they are not powerless to the bodies of other women. Such disrespectful literature for all females single and married. We are all just objects for consumption and the men are powerless victims to their cycles. Forget about sexual satisfaction for the wives. Wives are simply vessels for self pleasure for their husbands.

This is a must listen to book you will not regret listening to it
