never could I have imagined the cruelty experienced by Ingrid Betancourt. it is one thing to hear the news of her being a hostage, and quite another to learn about what it was like ... it is beautifully written

Everything it is a very well written book. it transports you to the depths of the jungle and makes you a part of the story

Someone told me about this book and said it was a interesting story and I love long reads. the narrator made this book awful. this story could have been told 100% better. so I would recommend a hard back for this book.

How does one endure unimaginable circumstances like the ones endured in the jungles of Columbia? I am amazed & inspired. The end is worth the wait.

I have only gotten thru half of this book, but I can tell you that it is a very interesting book,very informative.
