Para chegar lá, vivenciei uma inseminação artificial intrauterina bem-sucedida, conduzida por profissionais competentes e humanos, uma gestação árdua, uma imersão nas descobertas e surpresas do pós-parto, e aprendi - e continuo a aprender - a ser mãe da Vicky. A maternidade transformou a minha vida. Desejo, com essa obra, encorajar outras mulheres e homens a descobrirem o que se revelou para mim: o amor por um filho.
