unable to get into book WHY???

Can't wait for Ethic 2
Ok. First. How, why, when, really? Morgan is mute? So we suppose to act like she did have a birthday party in A Moth To A Flame and was asking for birthday money. Are the fact that she told Raven how she HEAR the fights between her and crazy man? Just saying.
But I enjoyed the book. Great way to pull in the reader by giving just enough background on the characters leaving you wanting more. I can't wait until the next book is completed.
