Very disappointing

Very poor. The author knowns a handful of simple facts and just repeats them over and over again throughout the book.

Much more superficial than I expected

May work for those who have no idea what cryptocurrencies are. Otherwise - 15-20 minutes worth listening.

Good Basic Information and Explanation

Good content of information for a beginner to crpto currency's particulary to Ethereum to digest. The progress of the information is at a good pace to allow beginners to follow. Will help anyone who wants to learn more about crypto currency's and the technology behind them.

Dull and repetitive

This is a very repetitive book. Everything is repeated three or four times at least.
The structure of the chapters is also annoying, especially in the audio book, since they are not numbered, so you really never know if the narrator is reading the name of the chapter, the sub chapter, or the bread text. Find your information elsewhere.

Clear, wide-ranging, well balanced

This book explains all the basics and terminology. The differences between Bitcoin and Ethereum are well described. The DAO hack that resulted in the fork in Ethereum's blockchain is very clearly laid out. If you do not know what this is, do not worry; anyone can understand the explanations. I was especially impressed with the patient explanation of scams and other risks. Most books on crypto I have read, tend too much to boosterism and glossing over risk factors. This one outlined risks on many dimensions including aspects of smart contracts I noticed and previously wrote about in reviews here. This is one of the better short and low-cost books on any topic I've listened to. I still find many aspects of Ethereum (and similar technologies) exciting, but I feel much better grounded by this book in the aspects of these not ready for prime time. It is still the wild west with regard to this technology, for better or worse. People seeking to exploit gaps in unregulated technologies are quick to appear.

very superficial overview

very superficial essay on ethereum, poor editing. A product clearly aimed at monetising on an hot argument with few audible books without adeguate research or author expertise on the topic.
