Publisher's summary

The Reapers exist and they don’t discriminate. They also don’t always let their victims live.

It’s been over six months since Ethan has seen his best friend, Charlie. Doubt and worry that he’ll never see him again begin to creep in when Charlie makes his sudden appearance. With big offers and promises of dreams fulfilled, how can Ethan say no?

Getting kidnapped, waking up on a cold metal slab, and being shoved into slavery were not on the agenda for the weekend vacation in space Ethan was promised.

Is Ethan strong enough to handle what will be thrown his way?

Will he manage to get free and put his new outrageous idea into motion?

Ethan’s New Mission is the second installment in the New Life series that contains some cussing and dark themes that some may find troubling. This book also features amazing adventures, aliens, challenging situations, and immense growth for our characters.

the battle is only beginning

Ethan's story really begins all that this series goes through, bringing us the real enemy and so many more struggles. this story is powerful but leaves us with hope. Again, I very much enjoy this narrator's efforts to give each character a voice and provide a soothing listening experience.

great story of hope and friendship

I loved being able to see more of Charlie's new home and new friends. I love the friendship he and Ethan have and how Charlie will do anything to keep him safe. This story definitely keeps you on your toes, wondering how it will end. It is a wonderful story that shows what you can do with hope, friendships, and determination. The narrator does a great job giving everyone their own voice and is very soothing to listen to.

Bigger and Better!

This is a great sequel! It has the same optimistic vibe as the first book with more space exploration and action. We get to see more of what life is like on Charlie's new planet as well as on other planets. Ethan and Charlie have such a great friendship that is shown a lot more in this book, and we learn more about Charlie's new alien friends too. Looking forward to the next one!
