Misleading book title

Book does not include specific “how to” estimate rehab costs. It is a total waste of time if expecting to learn process for costing rehab tasks.
The main part of the book is general statements about what work can be done during a rehab and reasons why people perform home rehab and renovations.

Google Auto-Translated?

There is no way this was originally written in English. The word choice is difficult and strange.

The first two hours are a biology lesson on mold and termites. I got through more than 4 hours and stil haven't learned anything about estimating rehab costs.

There is useful information if you are a begginer, but many other books are just strictly better.

Almost Unreadable

Most of these reviews have to be fake. The grammar is terrible and I honestly could not listen to more than a half hour before I gave up trying to decipher the weird word choices and nonsense sentences. I have never returned a book that was too painful to read before but I guess there is a first time for everything.

Robotic reading with bad Grammer.

robotic sounding. feels like Grammer from Google translate. I couldn't finish listening. I will find another book on estimating rehab costs.

Lots of jargon, not for investors, not easy listen

I found this book far too technical for real estate investors. It has a lot of info, but I am confused who the target audience is. He goes through about 20 different species of mold for about an hour. It is also not suited well for audio delivery, which might be the real problem here. This would be much more useful as a handheld book with pages to reference. As it is, the tables and expense sheets seemed rather convoluted in delivery.

Terrible

Sounds like it was translated into Hungarian and back before being narrated. I am very interested in this topic but the format this audio book makes it nearly impossible to understand.

Probably a good book, but a terrible narration

I'm not sure if there was some jumbling of the text in formatting it for the narrator to read (perhaps there were picture captions or sidebar text that got scrambled in with the main text), but many passages of this are simply incoherent gibberish. It's almost like chunks of totally unrelated sentences got merged together at times.

What currency is he referring to

The audible version does not state the currency...is it US dollars? Is it British pounds? The book cover does not state it either

Content doesn’t lend itself to audiobook narration

I’m not sure what the issue is with this audiobook, but I found it very difficult to follow, almost as if it was translated from another language or if the reader simply read through billeted lists or other content which doesn’t lend itself to audiobook narration. I’m very interested in the topic, but found the audiobook essentially unlistenable and, therefore, uninformative.

Very nice book!

Best book ever!!! I've always needed a reference for estimating home repairs and having a reference for investment property is a big bonus.
