Stunningly erotic, romantic & swoony

I have loved Skye Waren books for a while now but this is my first try at her audiobooks. Joe Arden completely and utterly nails Hugo and Bea!! His cadence and tone were spot on, his performance swept me and transported me to their intimate world. This story has so much going for it...high steaks, redemption, self discovery, forgiveness and acceptance. So many emotions that grip you and wont let go! One of the best Skye Warren stories by far!!!

Fantastic Narration

Joe Arden is without doubt the best narrator out there. This was a spectacular performance on audible. The accent was swoon worthy Loved it. Storyline of the book was good and the descriptive writing in places was poetic however, the narration lifted it to a whole new level

Joe Arden is the perfect Hugo!

With a title like “Escort” I knew this was going to be a hot book, however, I wasn’t prepared for the amount of romance that was in this book. Maybe it’s because this book is entirely in Hugo’s POV or maybe it’s because he is INCREDIBLY romantic… you choose. So we have Hugo, the top-paid escort in Tanglewood. He’s an escort of the high profile elite. He’s so honest… almost a bit blunt but extremely open. The way Hugo thought about Bea and how his feelings escalate is beautiful to read.

Bea has some issues. She wants an expert to relieve her of her innocence. Hugo is definitely attracted but has some problems with her offer. Did I mention that Bea if seriously incredible. I loved watching her change and evolve over the book. The connection between them FEELS real. Skye Warren created a truly unique and heart-filling story. Warren’s writing and flow totally engulf me into her worlds. These characters become my friends while I read and when I’m finished, I miss them. That is what makes a talented author.

Oh my word! Joe Arden is now Hugo for me! That's all I see now. I have no idea what Mr. Arden looks like but he'll forever more be Hugo for me. He played him so flawlessly. I could feel the romance and sexual tension just oozing out of his voice. Mr. Arden's voice really is a complete dream and he brought this story to life! I'm not sure I could have enjoyed this audio more.

A captivating and sexy sultry story!

Wow! Words cannot express what an amazingly beautiful and romantic story this was! I went in thinking this was going to be a “quickie” hot as sin story of a male escort (Hugo) hired by a virgin (Bea) to relieve her of her innocence. I WAS SO WRONG! I was so pleasantly blown away by the writing by Skye Warren! This was my first book I’ve done of hers, and now I’m hooked!
Escort, is told in 100% Male POV which I really enjoyed. This has so many layers of emotions between the 2 characters. Hugo was such an almost old fashioned gentleman, but boy what a lovely filthy mouth! That combination I found very endearing. Hugo’s tragic past was just so heart wrenching to hear, it gutted me. I felt for him immediately, and understood why he was the was he was.. what he endured as a child. Now, a very rich and very successful escort.. he’s got the world at his feet, but sadly knows nothing of love. Bea… this character was so elegant, neurotic, innocent, but definitely so curious in a almost “Siren” way. Such a unique individual with her naivety she was surprisingly quick witted and had her own tragic past..
The solo narration performed by Joe Arden was magnificent. First, I want to say I couldn’t get enough of the sexy accent! He captured this matter of fact, alluring, seductive, and very protective character to life. The way he speaks, from seductive to tragically sad, Arden was flawless. He performed Bea beautifully as well, with his French accented female voice. His “small and sweet” tones to capture Bea was very exquisite.
Overall, a solid 5 stars! From the build up to the sex, the build up of the relationship… the completely unexpected and totally unique love story… with Joe’s swoon worthy performance. What else would you need?! Get this book!

Loved it!

I really enjoyed this audiobook. The accents are sexy af. The storyline kept me intrigued till the very end and then some. Honestly I'd gladly read more about this couple. I'm definitely going to look for the virgin auction book. Fingers crossed that the couple actually have a book. Joe Arden gave a impressive performance.

Feeling Like Pokemon, Gotta Catch em All

Omg, this author showed up in my reccomended and I now have to go back and read all about Tanglewood, as this was the first I've heard. I've already got the Queen and The King duet on deck and next in queue...Skye Warren is my new obsession.

I wanted him to kill his mother's villian but alas, his outter conscience in the form of Bea stopped him from his well deserved revenge. That's all I'm giving away, the rest is for everyone to enjoy and read.

DID NOT WORK FOR ME!!!

For me there was only one redeeming factor; the sound of Joe Arden's voice! There was no real substance or effect. I tried twice but didn't finish. I am sure others will enjoy it and find it hot. Unfortunately, I was not one of them!! Thats why there is always another book to read and/or listen to.

Skye Warren is extremely talented. Her characters always reach out and draw me into their stories. Bee and Hugo are great characters! The title tells you what Hugo does, so I’m not spoiling by telling you that. Their story is wonderful yet tragic, difficult yet so very worth the read/listened. I listened, because Joe Arden, duh!
