Action and adventure that begins in the French Foreign Legion and ends on the shore of Houston Bay in Texas.
A renegade general hatches a plot to sneak a military attack helicopter across the sea and unleash it on an American city to escalate a war between China and the USA.
Carson Gold, a young man just out of the French Foreign Legion, and his new friend Christy Banks learn of the plot, take on massive odds, save countless lives, and discover love along the way.
The story moves at an entertaining pace, featuring unique characters and settings: the Somalian desert, a refinery in Beaumont, Texas, an enormous container ship, legionnaires, modern pirates, a terrorist group, a bayou, Homeland Security Agents, a highly-trained soldier/killer, and more.
As with all of Duane Laflin’s stories, the protagonists are morally upright people caught in complex and sometimes gut-wrenching situations.
