A steamy read!

Very steamy and sexy! Loved reading this book - perfect for all romance fans!

I love how it brought them closer and opened a line of communication between them and I fell in love! Amazing!

If you can get past narration, worth the listen...

What Wendy Wants by Nikki Sex clock in at just over three and a half hours and is a pretty unique book. Frank accidentally takes hos wife Wendy's iPad to work with him. Wendy freaks a bit and her reaction tips Frank off that there might be something interesting in her iPad. So he figures out the password and learns that she's into way more than he could have ever imagined in the bedroom. As Frank realizes that there's a lot about his wife that he apparently doesn't know, he sets out to make her dreams come true and start seducing her the way that it seems she wants.

It was a cute story with a definite unique plot. Ms. Sex is good at thinking up plots for her stories that are unique and haven't been done or overdone. It was pretty funny that Ms. Sex used her own novel, Karma, as inspiration for Frank to learn what Wendy wanted.

K.D. Jackson is a new narrator to me. I honestly would, in the future, avoid audiobooks that she has narrated. I almost gave up at the beginning because she was quite monotone and the recording quality was not up to par. If you can get past the prologue and into the first chapter, it gets easier to listen to, I promise. Though I feel that it does take away from the book overall. A book anyone that has been married more than 10 years with kids can relate to. Was excited to see how her husband put the research to use. Quick listen

Speaking as a Wendy, myself....

....I want this narrated by Guillaume Dubois. Or at least for the narrator to learn how to pronounce Andre's name. And the difference between deprecating and depreciating (this seems to be something many narrators have trouble with, though!) Other than that.... If I were married and had kids... my life would likely have ended up being much like Wendy's, and her Kindle library sounds hauntingly similar to my Audible library, at times. :) Get outta my head, Nikki Sex! :D #AuralFixation #AudiobookObsession

Narrator constantly cuts off the C in chapter, has some mispronunciation issues, and the Narrator rereads things

Every wife needs a Frank!

Wendy has discovered the world of erotic novels, masturbation, and vibrators. She has a husband that is taking their 13 year marriage for granted and sex has become "vanilla"
Frank accidentally picks up Wendy's kindle on the way out the door to work one morning. Curiosity gets the better of him when he discovers it is locked and being good with puzzles he soon figure outs the password. Frank has a very antithetical mind and for 3 days he learns everything he can about what his wife is reading, what she wants and desires, and the most effective way to make her organism. He finally arranges a spontaneous date with Wendy and after a night of dinner and dancing he employee what he has learned. This is one HOT book.
I did like that Frank and Wendy spoke honestly about their marriage and what each of them was feeling that they were missing in their relationship and "what they wanted" The narrator could have had some more emotion when convening they depth of their conversations but I still enjoyed listening to this book.
I have received a free copy of this audio for my honest opinion. And all I can say is I wish my husband would listen to this one!

Great story, meh narration

Who was your favorite character and why?

Her husband since he did most of the "talking"

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The narration, unfortunately, was not my favorite. The editing of clips together often resulted in a complete change of tone in the middle of a section. The narrator often seemed bored with what she was reading. You could a lot of background noises - just felt like someone reading a book to me, not acting it out, narrating it. Overall, would definitely recommend the book, only so-so on the audiobook though.

Makes you want the same from your man...

A boring marriage turns into a Hot one when a husband actually pays attention to what his wife reads in private. This book was good because it could have been anyone's actual life. Nothing about any of the situations were impossible to recreate in life. The sex scenes were spicy and the couple were even happier for them.

Sex and more sex

I got this story via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. This story shows how a husband and wife can renew their long term marriage by stepping outside of the box. Lots of sex, and I mean a lot in less than 4 hours. Some good points made during the story but again lots of sex. The narrator was ok.
