way more than just erotica

Before this I hadn't read any erotica to this level. Mostly because I can't stand the way the scenes are so fake and fluffed with strange phrases like quivering love mound. But this is raw, and real, and oddly relatable.

You don't need to have a background in the porn industry to relate with Sunshine. I found myself completely attached to her rather quickly. She struggles with what her values are versus what society says they should be.

Yes, this book is VERY hot. But don't think this book is just an aid to get off with. It's also a really great story that will knock you off your feet.

Just as HAWT as reading it for the first time!

OMG! Yes! You close your eyes and just listen to her read the story to you and it totally takes you there... to E. Mayberry!

The story is original. Not a story that you will just run across anywhere. This is the work of Chris Genovese at his best!

What does Lynn Devereux bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Lynn did a phenomenal job narrating the story and just brought just enough voices to keep your attention and wasn't annoying or unable to follow. I enjoyed her narration and hats off to her, for even being able to make it through the story without having to stop mid sentences. This book had me stopping while I was reading it. Lol!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

HECK YEAH I HAD AN EXTREME REACTION TO THIS BOOK! It was to reach below and tickle my fancy! This book is as HAWT as it gets, PERIOD!

Definitely recommended to ANYONE looking for a HAWT one handed read, and with it being Audible... You then have both them ;) Awesome job Chris and Lynn

Refreshing and inventive

I truly loved everything about this story. A great erotic novel is one that teaches me something, makes me see something differently, or keeps me contemplating the progression or outcome, and I really have to give props because E Mayberry does all 3. I can’t say much without giving anything away but love the concept and erotic parallels. It is so creatively done. I don’t think it could’ve been done better. Thanks, Chris, awesome, awesome work. And the narration is perfect. Can’t say enough.

Whoa!

I don’t think I can give any type of synopsis without giving away any spoilers! This is not a story for the bashful folks. Sexy, steamy, HOT HOT HOT! Several twists and I found I couldn’t turn it off. I’m sure my eyes were wide the whole time as I listened through my headphones.

In the beginning I thought the story was going to be just an excuse to talk about sex, but I found myself captivated and always wanting to know what would be next. Well done!

This was an action packed read, from the very beginning right to the end. Sure to please anyone that likes lots of sex action!

The main character is frustrating. But the frustration is worth it. This book is steamy.

So different...not at normal HEA

This is the first book that I've read/listened to by Chris Genovese. At first I thought that this is a weird storyline and almost put off listening to it...again. But I really wanted to know what the twist was all about and I had a LONG drive ahead of me. OMGosh! I was wiggling around the majority of the drive and wishing I had saved it for the evenings. Definitely kinky. But kink aside,, I was glued to the story behind the story. There was a shocking, heartbreaking scene over some of the other heart-rending moments. A very different story that made my trip go quickly!

Lynn Devereux is becoming a favorite narrator of mine. She does an excellent job with both male and female parts and her voice is easy to listen to for longer periods of time. Her performance was perfect.

OMG I knew I loved the book the first, second and even the third time I read it but listening to it, HOLY SMOKES BATMAN🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 It is Sexy and damn if this book does not make you clench your thighs together!!!! Chris is an amazing writer and Mrs Devereux’s voice was Sexy as hell!!!!! This is a book I could read or definitely listen to over and over again!!!!!!

Awesome Story & Narration🎧 Captivating & Intense🔥

This book completely wowed me, it captivated from start to end. This is my first book by Chris Genovese but it will not be my last, he is a gifted author with great writing skills. The story he created here is original and I love the way he presented it and had the lead character tell it and basically relive. Stormy Winters has not been enjoying her life, she felt it was empty and not worth living, but after a failed suicide attempt a Doctor takes him under her wing and wants to show her a better life, a life worth living. He brings her home in E. Mayberry, an exclusive gated community where residents live a lifestyle of their choice, one that Stormy would appreciate. I really liked Dr. Bastian, what he did for Stormy, bringing her up from he depressed state renaming her Sunshine. Life in Mayberry is like no other, a lot goes on there but it like Vegas, what happens in Mayberry stays in Mayberry. I loved how everything plays out in this book, it is well plotted with plenty of drama, hot kink, a bit of angst, some heartfelt moments, heartbreaking ones and some romance too. I just loved the mind-blowing twist, never saw that one coming, well done Chris Genovese, very well done. Thank you for this awesome story. I am looking forward to checking out more of your work, I hope some of it comes to Audible soon.

Lynn Devereux is a terrific narrator and voice artist. She did an awesome job job portraying the characters and bringing them to life. She gave each character their own voice and personality which made it easy to follow them. She set the perfect tone for the story and captured the characters emotions and passion which she projected into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen🎧
