Ehhhh....

I'm sure this would be a good book to physically READ, but they fumbled the bag having this narrator narrate this story for the Audible version. Kim Johnson did not sound believable at all. She was dry and really did zero justice for the characters and their personalities. It was also hard listening to her recite the many rap lyrics in this book. I still have 4 hours left of this story and I've given up on finishing. It's just too hard to focus. I don't even know what's going on in the story at this point lol. I'll probably purchase the book from Kindle and just read it.

Soooo Good

I love all of Noire's books but this one and G-Spot are my favorite! The storyline was so steamy and sounded like a real story. The narraration is so on point too and believable. The narrator even had a New York accent to pull it all together. Great Job with this one!!!

Good story

The story was good the narrator just had a little trouble reading thru out the story leaving me confused at some points.

main character is the worst "types of females"

intertwined into one! She had a horrible childhood but instead of focusing on overcoming those tribulations by working hard in school, doing the opposite of what her mom was she became just as bad or even worse. She selfish, believed the world revolved around her, felt she looked better than everyone else, used her looks to lie, cheat and manipulate others to get what she wanted. and even when she lost everything and hit rock bottom, she still believed she did nothing wrong! Struggled to finish this book Cuz I couldn't stand her, she had everything fame, good friend a good man and a beautiful child but she chose sex drugs and the night life and lost it all!! How selfish!! The book should have been read by Nicole Small!!! , felt the narrator could have been better, she just read instead of getting into "character" had she done that, I would have finished the book in one sitting. Although this book is a work of fiction the character displays many different woman in one! It's an unfortunate reality.

I'm a fan of Noire books and this one didn't disappoint me. Narrator was good too

It was ah-ight.

Perhaps this tale of erotic ghettoism is appealing to some. It was sexy but downright nasty. Just a tale from the hood! Would rather listen to this than some other modern romance featuring women and men who have no connection or understanding of my culture. Keep my attention despite the narrators flubs.

whew Chile saucy was a hot mess even as a little girl she was up to no good. this book was well put together and had a lot of drama. I knew Free and Tye was gone end up together

This was a lot..

Yeah so it was cool but seemed to be everywhere. I tuned out a lot but still when you come back it's like WTH WHY? It was just a lot and the end just took me put. Again. WHY?

Loved this book and the narrator Kim Johnson

I wanted to re read this book for so long and Kim Johnson made it possible. I'm not sure why the previous reviews are saying the narrator was horrible I'm thinking maybe they changed it from someone else to Kim. Kim was awesome and brought so much life to this story. Thank you noire and Kim the ride was fun
